Pithamagan is considered as one of the classics ever made in the Tamil Cinema. Directed by Bala, this film starred Vikram and Suriya in the lead roles. The movie brought Vikram a national award for best actor. It was also dubbed into Telugu as Shiva Puthrudu in 2004.
Now, according to the latest reports, this film is all set to get remade in Hindi as well. A leading production house had bought the rights of the film long back and is now planning to take it on to the floors. It is still unclear on who will be directing the film and what will be lead cast.
Currently, a few changes are being made in the script to suit the sensibilities of the North Indian audience. If everything goes well, the film might go on floors this year itself. Stay tuned for more details about the film.
