Noted actor Sreenivasa Deekshitulu, popularly known as Murari Deekshitulu, has passed away the other day at his residence. Deekshithulu was born on 28 July 1956, in Guntur district. Before foraying into films, he worked as a lecturer in Government degree college in Repelle village of Guntur district.
Deekshitulu was seen in many super hit films like Varsham, Indra, Tagore and Murari. Since his role as purohit in Murari became hugely popular, everyone started calling him as Murari Deekshithulu. He was also a director and theatre artist as well. His noted works in the theatre were Shakunthalam, Keelu Bomma and Maa Nanna Kavali.
he has also acted in the TV serial Aagumayam, which had earned a couple of Nandi Awards at that time. Meanwhile, the whole industry sent its condolences to the grieving family. We also pray that his soul may rest in peace in the heavens.
