Ram Charan and Sreenu Vaitla’s upcoming flick has finally got a title, after many considerations. According to reliable sources, the unit has zeroed in on Merupu as the title. Interestingly, Merupu was supposed to be the title of Charan’s project under Tamil director Dharani’s direction, a sports based film. Due to over budget, that project was shelved long-time back.
Initially, it was rumoured ‘My Name Is Raju’ as the tile but later different titles like Bruce Lee, Vijetha, Fighter, Resound etc are heard. After so much discussion, ‘Merupu’ is fixed and an official confirmation is awaited from makers. DVV Danayya is producing this film on Universal banner. Touted to be an action entertainer, it will have Sreenu Vaitla mark punch dialogues and hilarious comedy tracks. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead and the makers are planning to release the film on 15th October for Dussehra.
