This has kept him in problems several times in the past and now as the latest; he has landed in yet another controversy with his remarks against Telangana in his recent speech in America where he has been promoting his Basavatarakam hospital to collect funds.
Balakrishna said that Telangana were able to eat white rice only because of the Rs 2 per kg rice scheme introduced by his father. He has praised his father and at the same time projected Telangana people in poor light. These comments did not go well with the netizens, and people of Telangana, who have been hurt with those comments are posting hatred on the actor.
