Another Mega Hero Varun Tej’s debut film “Mukunda” is all set to rock the silver screens worldwide on 24th of this month (December 24, 2014). The movie has already completed the censor formalities and it received “U/A” certificate from the censor board. Pooja Hegde of Oka Laila Kosam fame is playing the female lead role opposite Varun Tej in the film. Rao Ramesh,Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam doing other prominent roles in the flick. Tagore Madhu is producing Mukunda on Leo Productions banner.

Mukunda is Mega Hero Varun Tej’s first film in Tollywood and he is said to be the first handsome hero in Mega Family.

Director Sekhar Kammula has done a Cameo role. Another buzz is that Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a special role in the film, if this news is true then it will be a major asset for the film.

The movie music already got the good response among the audience. Mickey J Mayer scored the music.

Mukunda directed by Srkanth Addala and his earlier films Kotha Bangaru Lokam and Seethammma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu are hit films at box-office.

Sirivennela Seetharamasastry is lyricist for all the songs in the film.

Mega Family is known to be the strongest one in Tollywood film industry. Majority of the theatres will be allocated to Mega heroes when their flicks gets released. Recently, few top film makers commented indirectly on media regarding this topic and Mega heroes didn’t respond on this as they felt that they didn’t use their family name or their name while doing the comment.

Now, the situation came like, Nitin’s “Chinnadana Neekosam” and Varun Teja’s “Mukunda” were set to hit the screens in the same timing. In this scenario, “Will Mega Family give way to Nitin or will it block Nitin’s theatres?” turned out to be the point.

Nitin too is equally strong in Nizam regions and he is hard core fans of Pawan Kalyan. A set of Power Star fans are fans of Nitin too. This may work out well and Nitin may get fair set of theatres for his venture. We have to see how Varun and Nitin shares the theatres in AP and Telengana.
