Generally, we see actors who get married late, mostly when they are in their mid-30s. But looks like the actresses these days are also following the same route. Almost a dozen actresses who are working in the film industry currently have no plans to get married in near future.

First among the list would be Sweety Anushka Shetty, who is 37 years old. The actress still looks fit in that age and looking at her career now, she is not in the mood to get married anytime soon. Same with the case of actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Anjali and Shruti Haasan who are 33 years old.

There are also a bunch of other heroines like Trisha, Tamannah, Nitya Menen, Lakshmi Rai, Charmee and Catherine Tresa, who are not interested in getting married so early. In fact, we have not witnessed a popular heroine down the south who got married in recent times, barring Samantha.

Svelte beauty Trisha Krishnan had some time ago planned to marry Chennai-based businessman Varun Manian. However, the wedding was called off at the last minute without disclosing the reasons.

Trisha has now revealed that her passion for films is the reason for the cancellation of marriage. Speaking at the success meet of Kodi, when Trisha was asked the reason for canceling her wedding, she said, ’I was asked to stop acting after marriage, and I couldn’t agree to that. I love and live for cinema. If I don’t get heroine roles, I will turn a character artist, and i want to die acting in films’.

The Chennai beauty is currently basking in the glory of her latest hit film ‘Kodi’ (Dharma Yogi in Telugu). Just when everyone thought that her career was over, Trisha bounced back strongly with Kodi in which she essayed a character with negative shades.

In the latest interview, Chennai beauty Trisha has revealed her plans for her personal life and her projects. When asked if she is ready for a new relationship, the beautiful actress said that she is ready to fall in love again. She added that she wanted to get married and settle down eventually.

Trisha clarified that she will not marry just for the sake of society or her age but only if she finds a man who is suitable for her.

She added that she chose to maintain silence over her alleged breakup with industrialist cum filmmaker Varun Manian as she did not want to hurt other people who were involved in her failed relationship.
On the film front, with ‘Cheekati Rajyam’, Trisha will complete 50 films. She is shooting for two horror films, Nayaki and Aaranmani 2.
