It’s been a great year for 2018 where many heroes have proved their mark and a few heroes also threw surprises but what’s so interesting is a few heroes who have not shined on the silver screen this year. The following is the names of the Telugu heroes who could not meet the audiences in the theatres for the year 2018.

Prabhas:

Young Rebel Star Prabhas has his hands full with work but he just could not make it to the screens this year because of the span of his next film Saaho. Straight after Baahubali, Prabhas joined Saaho shoot which started off with delays. Later, he started his 20th film in the direction of Radha Krishna Kumar too. Saaho will release on August 15th, next year.

Venkatesh:

Victory Venkatesh is one of the star heroes of the Telugu film industry who has been working round the clock for treating the audiences with good cinema. After Guru, he did not sign any film as no movie has impressed him. He is now gearing up for the release of the film Fun & Frustration for Sankranthi next year. He also has a film Venky Mama with Naga Chaitanya.

Rana Daggubati:

The versatile star is also busy with work every time but he just could not make it to the screens because of several reasons. Though he scored success as a solo hero with Nene Raju Nene Mantri, his focus on multi-lingual movies made him away from the theatres this year. He is busy with Housefull 4 and a couple of tri-lingual projects.

Akhil Akkineni:

After the debacles like Akhil and Hello, Akhil could not know whom to team up with. Half of the year, he has spent time searching for the right script and the other half, he was busy shooting for the film Mr. Majnu which will release next year. Akhil is confident that the film will become a big hit.

Rajasekhar:

The senior hero of the film industry who is full of form in the second innings failed to make use of the success of the movie Garuda Vega. He is now betting high on his next film Kalki, directed by Prashant Varma.

Sri Reddy, the controversial actress is doing her best to stay in the limelight. The actress recently interacted with the media and gave a message to the biggies of the Telugu film industry. The actress said that the biggies of Tollywood should learn how to behave from Kollywood biggies. She went on to an extent to tell that the industry biggies should wash the legs of the Kollywood actors and drink that water.

She is promoting the link of the video on social networking platforms. She wrote, “The best comment i did in my life ..learn from Chennai movie industry..tollywood big wigs has to wash Kollywood big actors legs, and drink that water..then change wl happens.”

In the video, she added, “Surya, Karthi, senior actor Rajinikanth are the real actors. They are humble. They always come to help the people whenever there is a need.

Recently, drugs case in Tollywood has created a sensation. In fact, drugs issue main revolving around the ace film personalities. According to reports, authorities have filed all four charge sheets in the use of drugs.

It is learnt that one of the directors of Tollywood has included two heroes. Three samples were sent to FSL, and both of them were positive. The two lab reports have already reached the court.

Kelvin, a drug dealer, was taken into custody by the Excise officials. Excise officers who issued notices to ten top ten celebrities questioned each other each day with the information given by Kelvin. A fresh charge sheet has been filed against three of them.

The Special Task Force of Prohibition & Excise Department which is investigating the Drug Racket Case issued notices to 16 Tollywood Personalities asking them to appear before them for questioning from 19th to 27th of July. All of them who were issued notices seems to be in touch with the Drug Racket Kingpin Calvin.

A popular News Channels disclosed the list of Celebrities who received notices in connection with the Drug Racket Case.

1) Raviteja, 2) Navdeep, 3) Tarun, 4) Tanish, 5) Nandu, 6) Charmee, 7) Mumaith Khan, 8) Puri Jagannath, 9) Cameraman Shyam K Naidu, 10) Art Director Chinna, 11) Subbaraju, 12) Ravi Teja Driver Srinivasa Rao

Notably, All these Celebs could be neither Drug Addicts nor Drug Peddlers. Notices were issued just out of suspicion and depending on available information. Whether or not they had been relying on drug will be disclosed only after the interrogation.

Haritha Haram campaign the two-week long programme of planting saplings was launched on Friday by state Chief Minister in Gundrampalli near Chityal in Nalgonda district. This latest week-long program of Haritha Haram of planting lakhs of saplings across the state has received a huge response from Telugu people and celebrities in Hyderabad. Tollywood Actors and Celebrities are lining up to take part in the second phase of ‘Telanganaku Haritha Haram’ campaign.

Today, the entire Mega family took part in the afforestation programme in Hyderabad, starting from Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja to Allu Arjun, who lauded the efforts of KCR in this regard. Telugu film industry is currently experiencing the Summer movie phase. Already we have witnessed some good films from star heroes. Now, we have an update on these star heroes regarding their plans for summer holidays. Power Star Pawan Kalyan who entered the race with the film Sardaar Gabbar Singh is currently having a great time with family in a vacation. Long back Pawan Kalyan left the country with his family members. He is taking rest and will be back once everything is ready for the shoot of his next film in the direction of SJ Suryah.

On the other hand, Stylish Star Allu Arjun who is riding high with the success of Sarrainodu is also planning on a vaction now. He is yet to finalize his next film. He might be joining hands with either Vikram Kumar K or Linguswamy. Before he finalizes things, he wanted to go off for a vacation with wife and son. After doing an action entertainer ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, power star Pawan Kalyan will be doing a love story in the backdrop of faction. The project was launched yesterday in the direction of SJ Suryah.

Post the completion of ‘Thani Oruvan’ Telugu remake, Ram Charan will do a different love story in the direction of intelligent Sukumar. Innovative love story will be the highlight of this film.

After scoring a mass hit with recent ‘Sarrainodu’, Allu Arjun is gearing up to do a variety love story in the direction of Tamil director Linguswamy.

Varun Tej’s next film ‘Mister’ in the direction of Sreenu Vaitla is also said to be a love story cum comedy.

Prabhas and Akhil are also doing love stories in the direction of Sujeeth and Vamsi Paidipally respectively.

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, who proved herself on the small screen with her shows like Prematho Mee Lakshmi, Luckunte Lakshmi and Boom Boom, is all set to host a new show Memu Saitham. It is a TV show that helps the common man, who struggle to achieve their dreams with an undying spirit. The show features some young actors doing odd jobs and donating the money earned to the poor. The celebrities’ earnings through odd jobs is multiplied by 100 and that amount is donated.

Today, a press meet has been held at Prasad Labs to promote the show in a big way. Speaking to the media, Lakshmi Manchu said that, this idea was developed two years ago, but she is not able to develop the idea at that time. With the support of Shruthi Shinde, who is the daughter of Ex- Central Minister Sunil Kumar Shinde, she now came forward to help the needy people with Memu Saitham show. Lakshmi further added that actresses are coming forward and showing interest to participant in the show but heroes are not showing interest to participate. Manchu Lakshmi further admitted that she hope that heroes come forward after seeing the episodes on TV.

As part of the programme, Rakul Preet and Sushanth also attended the event. Rakul Preet Singh, Akhil Akkineni, Regina Cassandra and Rana Daggubati joined with Lakshmi Manchu and served as normal persons in Hyderabad and the money earned by this show will be spent for the welfare of natural disasters victims. The channel already started airing the promos and show will be telecast soon.

The festival of colors Holi is here and the film fraternity seem to be completely soaked in the festive spirit as heartfelt warm wishes are pouring in from them. Holi festival welcomes the spring season and it is celebrated over two days, the first one being celebrated as Holika Dahan and the second day as the main festival. Telugu film celebrities cast their vote right in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections and appealed the urban voters to take part in the polling process.

Star actors like AlluArjun, Balakrishna Nandamuri, NTR, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Manchu Family actors, Rajendra Prasad, etc used their vote right at various polling centres in Hyderabad. They appealed to youthto come out and vote.

Vote percentage is still not great as young voters are not turning up as expected.

Ram Charan and Akhil Akkineni will be giving their first ever live dance performance at the IIFA Utsavam to take place on 24th and 25th of Jan in Hyderabad.

Ram Charan will be seen dancing to some of the hit songs of his father Chiranjeevi where as Akhil will also be performing under the supervision of popular choreographer Shiamak Davar.

IIFA Utsavam is designed to honor the talent of South Indian cinema and it will be the first season of IIFA down South. Allu Sirish, Regina and Navadeep will be the hosts of the event and Megastar Chiranjeevi will be the chief guest.

IIFA Utsavam was supposed to take place on 4th, 5th and 6th of December last year butit was postponed to January following the Chennai floods. The funds collected through this event will go to the relief fund of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

Young Tollywood celebs have decided to collect donation and necessary supplies for the victims of Chennai floods. They have started ‘Mana Madras Kosam’, a noble initiative for this purpose.

On Sunday, a press meet was organized at Rama Naidu Studios in which Allu Arjun, Manchu Lakshmi, Navdeep, Manchu Manoj, Allari Naresh, Tejswini, Madhu Shalini, Sushanth, Rana Daggubati, etc attended.

Apart from donating Rs 25 lakh, Bunny has participated in this event as well since he feels he owes to Chennai city for spending his childhood there. His young brother Sirish has also participated.

Rana said that many had come voluntarily to donate for their noble initiative. Manchu Lakshmi said that Tamil actors Vishal, Karthi, Siddarth, etc were working in Chennai as volunteers.

Heavy rains that resulted in Chennai city with huge floods left people starving for food and other necessary food supplies. People across the nation along with The South actors are contributing their part to help the needy who are affected because of these floods.

As part of it Tollywood heroes Allu Arjun, Jr.NTR, Kalyan Ram, Mahesh Babu and few others donated money in favour Chennaities. Additional to this, younger generation actors Nani and Rakul Preet Singh are doing their best in favour of the victims.

Nani, who is currently shooting for Hanu Raghavapudi’s next film, has taken out some time to bring in some donations and send them to Chennai. In his Twitter, Nani tweeted saying that he along with nine other stars will be present at Inorbit Mall, Manjeera Mall and Kukatpally Forum Malls on Sunday, December 6th from 4-7Pm to collect money and send it to Chennai. #manamadraskosam has been his Twitter hashtag.
