Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Syeraa Narasimha Reddy is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. This Surender Reddy directorial is a biopic of unsung freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who hails from Rayalaseema region. Already, the shoot has been wrapped up and the post-production works are going on.

The makers are planning to release it on the 2nd of October. Meanwhile, we hear that producer Ram Charan is planning to kickstart the promotions from the next month itself. Already, all the first look posters of the major characters have been revealed and a special teaser on Chiranjeevi was also unveiled.

Apparently, now Ram Charan is planning to release a making video of the film either in the first or second week of August. Later, the teaser, trailer and song releases will be followed in regular intervals. On the whole, the team is planning to dedicate these two months to promote the film aggressively. Looks like a pretty good move.

The makers are on the edge of completing the pre-production work. Even though this flick was officially launched, the actors are waiting for the regular shoot to get commenced. Because the art director Rajeevan is busy erecting huge sets in the locales of Hyderabad, Pollachi in Tamil Nadu and in Rajasthan to bring back the atmosphere of 18th century. The regular shoot will get started from 5th of October, and all the chief actors will participate in the first schedule.

This movie is directed by Surender Reddy along with screenplay. Mega power star Ram Charan Tej is bankrolling this flick with almost 150 crores of the budget. A R Rahman is in talks for composing music.

Chiranjeevi will be donning the character of this freedom fighter. As the team has decided to release this flick in Hindi, the name might not get popular for Hindi viewers. So they are thinking about the name Mahavir which rhymes with the magnum opus Baahubali which can grab the attention of Hindi audience. An official confirmation from this movie’s team is awaited.

This movie is bankrolled by mega power star Ram Charan. Music will be scored by A R Rahman. The movie gets launched on 15th of August.

Top director Surender Reddy whom NTR affectionately calls Suri has reportedly turned down the offer of young tiger to direct him.

After the success of Janatha Garage, NTR has not yet decided about his next project. He has listened to the stories from several directors including Puri but was not satisfied with anyone. The actor has already been sitting idle for more than two months. It is reported that NTR has recently called up Surender Reddy, who will soon be free from Ram Charan’s ‘Dhruva’ and offered him a chance to direct him.

The talented director, who has already directed the star hero in ‘Ashok’ and ‘Oosaravelli’, has reportedly turned down the offer. As per sources, Surender Reddy will next direct ‘Jaguar’ hero Nikhil, as he was offered a whopping Rs 13 Cr remuneration. Which filmmaker can refuse such a juicy offer?

Ram Charan is getting ready to start the shooting of Thani Oruvan remake under the direction of Surender Reddy, but the heroine is not finalized yet.

The latest update is that hip beauty Ileana has triggered an argument between the hero and director of this forthcoming film. Ever since Ileana moved to Bollywood, there have been a lot of rumors about her comeback with an item song or in lead heroine role.

It is said that Surendar Reddy is suggesting Ileana’s name for this film while Ram Charan is insisting on not Ileana at all.

Surender Reddy stresses that as the heroine has not much to do in the film, Ileana can create good curiosity. Charan alleged that even if the heroine hasn’t got a big role to play in Thani Oruvan, he wants a fresh face like Keerthy Suresh or someone else but not a routine face of Ileana.

Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan starer Race Gurram is finally releasing tomorrow. The movie has been creating quite a lot of buzz (due to various reasons,ofcourse). This flick is directed by Surender Reddy of ‘Kick’ fame.

S S Thaman has scored the music for this film. And it looks like the songs have struck a chord with the audiences.
FM channels are airing the songs,virtually,in a loop. `Gala Gala` and `Cinema Choopista` have become instant hits. A typical Thaman number,`Sweety`,has really caught up with the fans. Shruti Haasan has sung a song, ‘Down Down Down Duppa’ in the film and her onscreen chemistry with Allu Arjun, especially in the songs, have set a lot of tongues wagging.

The film boasts of a high dose of twists and turns. Apparently, Director Surender Reddy has also included liberal doses of comedy and entertainment in the movie.

Our Mega Producer has acquired the rights for the Nizam territory for nearly Rs 10 crore which is an indication of the immense confidence he has on the Box Office outcome of this crazy project. It looks to be sure-shot hit,given the fact that it will also be dubbed in Malayalam and released as ‘Lucky-The Racer’.

The release of the film,earlier,had been postponed again and again. Initially, the film was planned as a Vijayadashami release viz. October 13, 2013. However it was later shifted to January 2014 as a Sankranti special along with Mahesh Babu’s 1 – Nenokkadine.

Now that the film is finally ready to hit the screens with a U/A Certificate,it remains to be seen whether the movie is able to live up to the hype and enthrall the audiences!
