Star Director Trivikram Srinivas’s latest release ‘A..Aa’ seems to be unstoppable at the overseas box-offices.

The film has collected a share of $2 million in overseas. Interestingly, A..Aa has achieved this feat after just 11 days of its release. Trade analysts say that the film is still grossing a healthy income each day and looking at the impeccable trend, many are predicting that the romantic entertainer has the capability of surpassing Mahesh Babu’s career best overseas Srimanthudu ($2.89 million) in its full run.

It is noteworthy that A..Aa’s stupendous run in overseas continues despite the film’s tickets have been priced at just $14 whereas tickets of biggies of star heroes are generally priced above $20. ‘A..Aa’ has recently surpassed NTR’s ‘Nannaku Prematho’ to become the 3rd highest grosser in overseas and if it can maintain the momentum for another week, it may outsmart ‘Srimanthudu’ as well.

Yes, you read that right. Baahubali and Srimanthudu are indeed back in theaters. Now, before you start scratching your head about the reason behind this, let us explain.

Going into details, Baahubali was screened in just four theaters in Hyderabad while Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ was screened in 27 theaters. Though recent release like Kshanam and Kalyana Vaibhogame are doing well, they do not cater to the mass crowds and entertainment seekers on Shivarathri night.

After scoring the biggest commercial hit of his career with ‘Srimanthudu’, Superstar Mahesh Babu has joined the shooting of his next film ‘Brahmotsavam’. It seems that the effect of ‘Srimanthudu’ is visible on Brahmotsavam now.

The shoot started with a song featuring Mahesh, 500 junior artists and a huge set. As per reliable sources, just this song has cost the makers around Rs 3.5 Crore. Although, this amount is very much huge for a song, makers didn’t compromise as the song is very crucial for the movie.

Audiences have already proved with ‘Srimanthudu’ that they will encourage good cinema. With the confidence ‘Srimanthudu’ gave, ‘Brahmotsavam’ makers are investing heavily on this project.

It has become the second all-time highest south movie in US beating ‘Robot’ and is standing next only to “Baahubali – the Beginning”.
The film also stood in the 12th place among the highest grossing international films of 2015 in the US.

Going by the way advance booking and the ticket sales of benefit shows for Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ are, it is almost confirmed to beat the first day record of Attarintiki Daredi, Rs 10.7 Crore in Telugu states. No one is expecting Srimanthudu to even challenge the records of Baahubali and the only aim of Srimanthudu is to beat the records set by Attharintii Daredi and emerge the new industry hit barring Baahubali.

Ticket prices are hiked by 30% in major cities and this will be added advantage for Srimanthudu. Attarintiki Daredi holds most of the Non-Baahubali records like biggest opening day, opening week, all time business, Region wise top etc. and the target of Srimanthudu will only be to beat them all.

With positive talk on day 1, it is not tough for Srimanthudu to achieve this feat.
