Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role in the upcoming movie titled NTR which is the biopic on the life of his father. Krish Jagarlamudi is the director. The script is locked and the pre-production work is in progress now. A lot of rumors are being heard about the film’s casting and multiple star heroes are expected to be a part of this project.
NTR Biopic
Vidya Balan is confirmed to play Sr NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in the movie. Rana Daggubati is expected to play Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Naga Chaitanya Akkineni will shine as ANR again. The makers wanted Mahesh Babu to play Super Star Krishna but they are yet to finalize it. Mohan Babu Manchu and Rajasekhar are also expected to be a part of the project in some key roles.
Sharwanand is in consideration to play the younger version of Sr NTR in the movie.
There are a lot of rumours about the project Mahanati from the beginning. As the film is gearing up for a release tomorrow, there is still no clarity on who will be seen as SR NTR in the movie. The makers initially approached JR NTR to play the particular role but the young hero declined the offer citing the reason that he is still not ready for taking up such a big challenge. Director Nag Ashwin also confirmed the same in his recent interviews.
Mahanati Release
Meanwhile, the inside sources about the film unit reveal that Nag Ashwin and team has digitally re-created SR NTR in the movie and all his scenes are going to be a delight to watch on the big screen. Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri in the movie that is hitting the screens tomorrow.
Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma is gearing up for his new film titled as Lakshmi’s NTR. On the other side, filmmaker Kethi Reddy Jagadeesh Reddy is coming up with an interesting film titled Lakshmi’s Veera Grantham. Vani Viswanath, the senior actress is going to play the title role in the film and the makers are yet to approach her. They are also considering Lakshmi Raai and Sunny Leone for this role. The film is produced by G Vijay Kumar Goud and they planned to release the movie in January next year.

The first look poster of the film was released yesterday, and the makers said that already two films are being made on the life of SR NTR and this film is going to touch something that both the films are not discussing. The makers wanted to turn this into a prestigious project and wanted to celebrate the greatness of SR NTR.
Ram Gopal Varma today announced that he is going to direct the biopic of Sr NTR. RGV is very happy and excited to make this prestigious film. Balakrishna Nandamuri is going to play the lead role in the movie. As of now, there are no complete details available on the project, but we have got the official confirmation from the director himself that he will be directing this prestigious movie.

Nandamuri Balayya has announced the sensational biopic on his father, late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Now, this has become the new talk of the Tollywood. But many are still in a dilemma regarding the director who is capable of handling this mighty venture.

If rumors are anything to go by, a source close to Balayya camp said that Director Puri Jagannath is the one who has given the idea of Biopic on NTR to Balayya. He even prepared a single line story which attracted Balayya. So we can expect a flick on the life history of Telugu Legend under Puri direction. Balayya will play the character of NTR. Any other details are unknown for now.
If Puri helms this project, then this will be useful for him to bounce back after two duds at the box office. As of now, he is looking forward to making a flick with Victory Venkatesh before or after Venky’s flick with Krish.
