Continuing the trend of making biopics on famous personalities who excelled in their respective fields, popular actor Sonu Sood announced that he will be producing a film which will be made based on the life of ace shuttler, PV Sindhu. He made this announcement when Sindhu won the silver medal at the Olympics.

But, due to some unknown reason, it didn’t go on floors until now. But, Sonu has finally decided to take it on to the floors and apparently, even the script works are also completely done. We hear that Deepika Padukone will reprise the role of Sindhu in this movie.

We have also heard that Sonu himself will play the role of Sindhu’s coach and former badminton legend, Pullela Gopichand. The main cast and crew of this film are yet to be finalized. Once they get finalized, makers will make an official announcement.

Ranveer Singh is one of the talented actors in Bollywood film industry. The actor is always game for some interesting characters and he is the first choice for both protagonist and antagonist roles. He is currently getting busy with the film Simbaa which is the remake of the film Temper. Sara Ali Khan is the female lead in the film while Sonu Sood is playing the antagonist.

Both Ranveer and Sonu Sood are working out in the same gym and Sonu sood shared his work out picture with a caption, “Iam a work in progress! #simbajourney” to which Ranveer Singh replied, “Darra rahe ho, Bhaisahab… ?” in a funny way. Rohith Shetty is the director of the movie Simbaa. The film is scheduled for a grand release in Decemnber.

It looks like the season of biopics is finally here. The biopic season is certainly going to be an interesting as we can get to see some inspiring stories of successful persons. The recent buzz reveals that the actor-producer Sonu Sood is set to make a biopic on P.V. Sindhu, and the ace shuttler hopes that it inspires millions to follow their dreams. The same has been officially confirmed by both of them, and since then, there is a positive buzz on the project already.

“Looking forward to the biopic to be made by Sonu Sood and team. Hope it inspires millions to follow their dreams,” Sindhu tweeted on Monday. Sonu Sood is also hopeful that her journey and achievements will inspire the world. More details about the biopic will be revealed soon.

Director Trivikram Srinivas with the Pawan Kalyan starrer which has not been titled yet. While the Power Star Pawan Kalyan has joined the sets and the shooting is progressing, it is learnt that Sonu Sood has been roped in to play the antagonist.

In fact, the suave actor will be seen playing a business tycoon in the film. Trivikram Srinivas and Pawan Kalyan are teaming up for the third time after the smash hits Jalsa and Attarintiki and this has given rise to strong speculations that they might score a hat trick.

The yet to be titled film has Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel playing the female leads.

Interestingly, Kushbhoo will be staging a comeback with this flick. This film will mark the debut of music director Anirudh Ravichander in Tollywood. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has been roped in to edit the film, and Manikandan will crank the camera.

This entertainer is being bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under the banner Haarika & Hassine Creations. The shooting of this film is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and is expected to go on there for the next few weeks.

Actor Sonu Sood, who predominantly acts in Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu films, will soon be seen in a cameo in a Pakistani film titled ‘Ishq Positive.’

The news was confirmed by Sonu himself. ‘Ishq Positive’ is said to be a romantic comedy featuring Wali Hamid Ali, who is also known to be a singer from the Raga Boys band.

“I am good friends with Wali. I did Ishq Positive for our friendship. It’s a cameo. I am playing myself in the film. I have my natural look in the film. We shot in Mumbai,” added Sonu.

Sonu Sood will soon be seen in an Indo-Chinese film alongside legendary Jackie Chan. Titled ‘Kung Fu Yoga’, the film also has Amyra Dastur and Disha Patani playing key roles.

Kung Fu Yoga is an upcoming multi-lingual action-adventure comedy film to be directed by Stanley Tong. The film is a Chinese-Indian co-production of Taihe Entertainment and Shinework Media (China). It is a part of the three-film agreement signed between India and China during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India. Apart from Jackie Chan, the film also stars B-town hunk Sonu Sood, Amyra Dastur and Aarif Lee. The film will be made in English, Mandarin, Hindi and is expected to release later this year.

Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood were already meet up with photos and videos in media, while Sonu Sood Trending with another tweet on social media. Sonu has been invited for the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival in China. Sonu Sood said that he would not only attend the screenings but also promote his film there. During this ceremony as a part of their film promotion, Sonu Sood along with Superstar Jackie Chan danced on the stage that to a famous Indian Punjabi song sung by Daler Mehndi “Tunak Tunak Tun ..” song and entertained the fans. Sonu and Jackie Chan’s dance was the highlight of the event.

Bollywood choreographer cum film director Farah Khan is reportedly choreographing the dance moves for a song to star Jackie Chan.

It is well known that Jackie Chan is playing the lead role in an Indo-China co-production venture titled ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. Indian actors Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur are also acting in this film. It is said that Sonu Sood has advised Jackie that it will be beneficial if they incorporate at least one song in the film as Indian movie goers love songs.

Jackie obliged to this suggestion and roped in Farah Khan to choreograph him in the song. The song will be shot in Rajasthan and Beijing. Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur will also dance in the song along with Jackie.

‘Kung Fu Yoga’ is slated for release in October this year.

Jackie Chan will be shooting for his upcoming Indo-Chinese film Kung Fu Yoga in India.He will be coming to India on the 21st of March and will be staying for 15 days in Jaipur.

The film also stars Sonu Sood in a key role. Also starring actresses Amyra Dastur and Disha Patani, the film features Jackie Chan as a professor of archaeology who teams up with an Indian professor to locate India’s lost Magadha treasure in Tibet.

The film was announced by Chinese film regulators as part of an India-China co-production agreement during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to China last year. It is reported that the Hindi film stars have performed some adrenalin-pumping action sequences for the movie.

Directed by Stanley Tong, the action comedy film is also shot here and Iceland. This is not the first time Jackie will be visiting India. He paid a visit to the country in 2013 and earlier has even collaborated with India Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat in The Myth.

Martial arts star Jackie Chan has surprised Indian actor Sonu Sood by presenting him a white colour jacket.

It is well known that Sonu Sood is playing a pivotal role in Jackie’s new film ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. As the film has Indian Yoga as its main theme, Sonu has been roped in to play a crucial role. After receiving the surprise gift form, Jackie, Sonu proudly shared it on social media with a tweet tagging their picture. Sonu was roped in after many actors like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff opted out of the film.

The movie also has cute actress Amyra Dastur playing a special role. She replaced Ileana in this film.

Sonu Sood is a top villain across Southern and Hindi film industries. He is not inferior to any hero regarding looks or physique. This star villain has recently distributed 50 cycles to the members of his gym in his native village Moga, Punjab.

Sonu Sood owns a gym in Moga which has all the modern facilities and the fitness enthusiasts have been using the services of his gym free of cost.

When questioned, who inspired him for this, Sonu Sood was quick to say that at the time of ‘Dabangg’, he got inspired by Salman Khan’s act of donating cycles to poor kids. Now, he has repeated the same act.

Salman Khan is well known for charity work using Being Human foundation as a platform. The star hero has been donating the big amount for the welfare of poor children. The good hearted actor inspired Sonu towards social service, which is commendable.

This Dadasaheb phalke awardee is also in the list of top 25 Asian Actors as per CNN.  He was titled ‘Villain of the Millennium’ by Stardust in 2000. This charming villain acted in almost 350 films, the last one being Tere Mere Sapne (1996).

Amrish Puri – Mogambo

That towering personality with terrifying baritone voice, when gives an angry look with those big eyes, even a macho man will piss in his pants. Amrish Puri, the most dignified but dreadful villain of Hindi Cinema gained an iconic status playing negative roles tirelessly and was more-than-perfect in playing the baddie. In a span of 35 years of career, he acted in 400 plus films, and the most popular role was Mogambo with “Mogambo Khush Hua” becoming the most famous dialogue ever told by a Bollywood villain. But when he departed, Poora Hindustaan Dukhi hua.

Prem Chopra – Prem Chopra

“Prem Naam Hai Mera, Prem Chopra”, said this veteran villain.  He took over the space what was empty when Pran moved to doing important supporting roles.  There was a touch of humor in Prem Chopra’s malignancy. Bobby, Kati Patang, Do Anjaane, Phool Bane Angaarey made him one of the prominent villains of his times.

Ajit – LOIN

That malicious man who coined a brand new word in English – ‘LOIN’.  The iconic lines phrases like “Mona daarling” , “Lilly, don’t be silly”, “Smaart bwoy”, “Mona, loot lo sona” uttered by Ajit are extremely popular even now.  His performance in Kaalichaan and Zanjeer brought him immense recognition.

Ranjeet – Psycho-The-Rapist

He was the rape specialist of the bell-bottoms era of Bollywood. Draped in gaudy costumes, Ranjeet was an expert in eve-teasing, and abusing.  Ranjeet brought in so much authenticity to the lust-filled baddie roles that women in social parties often stayed away from him.  The manly menace however has no replacement till date in Bollywood.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar – Maharani

He played a eunuch and delivered an engaging performance in Sadak. A role that no one else could perform better than him . The meticulous Marathi actor also won laurels for his gangster role in Ardh Satya.  He was also seen playing a funny villain in Ishq. He has stayed away from Bollywood in the last decade. He appeared in a cameo in Bombay Talkies though.

Danny Denzongpa – Kaancha

He was approached for the role of Gabbar Singh, but there was a dates clash. However,  Danny made his own mark in Bollywood. He gave some commendable performances in Balwaan,  Ghatak and Sanam Bewafa. He was very effective playing Kaancha Cheena in Agneepath, and Bhaktawar in Hum. Danny still continues to do be the antagonist, the recent being Salman’s Jai Ho where he plays a scheming ad powerful politician.

 

Anupam Kher – Dr.Dang

The ‘Dr.Dang’ of Karma surely is one of the most unique villains of Bollywood. The mannerisms of the evil scientist made it a memorable role. The versatile actor with his interesting dialogue delivery makes his screen presence very attractive. His other noted performances in negative shades are Beta,Tezaab and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

Ashutosh Rana – Gokul
The favorite villain of the Bhatt camp, Ashutosh played the role of a gory murderer Gokul in Dushmann. He plays a postman by profession but a psychopath rapist deep inside. In Sangharsh , he plays the eccentric ‘Pandey’ who believes in  cult practices. His act of dressing like a woman and bawling is one of the most scariest frames in Bollywood. Ashutosh has also excelled in playing a malefactor in Zakhm, Ghulam, Haasil and Awarapan.

Sonu Sood – Chhedi Singh

Lately, the villains are emerging with great physique and better looks than the leading men. Sonu Sood is one best example in this category. His portrayal of Chhedi Singh in Dabangg won him fans. The recent R..Rajkumar had Sonu playing a handsome villain ‘Shivaj Gurjar’ trying to woo Sonakshi. The hunk will be seen in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year and Prabhu Deva’s Action Jackson this year.

Though the concept of a stereotypical villain is slightly fading away,  the charisma of the villains in last 50 years cannot be forgotten.
