Superstar Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film Spyder’s teaser released few days ago and received a thumping response from the audience. Although the action sequences and sentiment scenes were appeared to be great, there is one factor which worried fans to the core.

As we know, Tamil director SJ Surya played the role of the main villain in the film. His voice in the teaser, however, received negative comments from the critics and delivered Tamil flavor.

So now team Spyder roped in dialogue king Sai Kumar’s brother Ravi Kumar to lend the voice for SJ Surya. It is heard that Ravi Kumar’s voice can be heard in the theatrical trailer, which is all set to be released soon.

Rakul Preet Singh has played the love interest of Mahesh Babu in this Sci-Fi thriller. Harris Jayraj has composed tunes. The movie was directed by AR Murugadoss. NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu are the producers. The movie is gearing up for release on September 27.

After the success of Iraivi, the actor is continuously getting offers in both Telugu and Tamil languages. SJ Surya tried to delay the project after discussing with Pawan Kalyan. But Pawan, who does not want to see any further delays has discussed with his producer Sharad Marar and roped in Kishore Pardhasany (Dolly) of Gopala Gopala fame.

Dolly had earlier directed Pawan Kalyan in Gopala Gopala, and both share a very good rapport. During the time of Gopala Gopala, Pawan promised Dolly a film, and when SJ Suryah is walking away from the film, the immediate choice for Pawan is Dolly. Already the pre-production work on the film is in progress, and the regular shoot starts from July end.

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife Renu Desai has surprised the fans of Pawan by posting a pic of her luncheon on the eve of New Year with S J Surya, the director of blockbuster film ‘Khushi’.

Renu and SJ Surya have been good friends ever since he directed Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Khushi’. “New year lunch with Surya sir…:) pic clicked by Akira &Aadya hiding behind me :D,” tweeted Renu by tagging a photograph clicked at a restaurant in Mumbai.

This special luncheon raised many discussions about a possible collaboration for a film starring Pawan. There have been numerous reports for the past few days about the collaboration of Pawan and Surya once again.

Is Renu playing a role in that film?

Three reputed directors Gautam Menon, SJ Surya, and Selva Raghavan are coming together to make a horror film.All three are not directing this one but they are sharing the responsibilities.

While Gautam Menon will take of production responsibility, Selva Raghavan will direct SJ Surya in lead role. Each of the three directors created their own brand with their respective films. When these three creative minds come together, the result is expected to be out of the box.

After his ‘Kaan’ with Simbu was halted for indefinite period, Selva Raghavan prepared this horror subject and formed the awesome combination. Currently, the casting process is in progress and the film will go on floors early next year.

As per latest reports from film Nagar, we might yet again see the magic of power star Pawan Kalyan’s career defining film ‘Khushi’.

SJ Suriya directed the Tamil remake. The film was instrumental for the humongous fan following for Pawan. After this film, the duo joined hands again to deliver ‘Puli’, one of the biggest disasters in the careers of both.

Post this, SJ Suriya has directed few Tamil films but couldn’t replicate his earlier successes. Now, it is heard that he is teaming up with Tamil star Vijay for the sequel of ‘Khushi’ and if everything goes as per plan, the sequel will also be made in Telugu with Pawan.

Pawan is currently busy with the shooting of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in Sardaar and it will hit the theaters in summer 2016.

SJ Suriyah is one of those people who have has quite a mixed track record in terms of success. While his directorial ventures like Khushi and Vaali were super hits, there have also been many like Vyaapaari and Thirumagan that failed at making any sort of a mark in the Kollywood landscape.

There has been one singular project of his though that has been in the making for quite a while now and that is Isai.

Though no one knows the details of the plot, Isai is rumoured to be based on two competing music directors. However, ironically AR Rahman, who was initially all set to compose the tunes for this flick backed off after Suriyah’s Vyaapari and others were declared flops.

The main cast too had a lot of changes since the project’s conception. Suriyah would play the lead obviously but the supporting roles were the ones in trouble.

Prakash Raj was to play one main character but had to decline the role later due to his busy schedule, and now it seems that role has been filled by Sathyaraj.

The heroine is Savithri, formerly known by her real name Sulagna Panigrahi. This Oriya based glamorous diva originally got recognition for her role in the Bollywood film Murder 2.

And as we all know, an SJ Suriyah film means some guaranteed hot and heavy numbers and/or scenes, so it makes sense that the veteran director chose the sensational Savithri for the lead female part.

SJ Suriyah has also composed the tunes for Isai and has even sung a song, according to sources.

Soundararajan was the man behind the lens and Anthony has handled the editing. Isai has been produced by ASA Multimedias.

The official trailer of the film is to come out on August 29th, so the audiences wait to see if this is the movie that’s going to turn it around for Suriyah after a string of disappointments.
