Actress Sruthi from Coimbatore has acted in small roles in Tamil cinema. She has been arrested for allegedly cheating many men through her Facebook account. Shruti, who posts a variety of photos on Facebook, will first be friend with men.

Then she says, she wishes to marry them and asks them to buy what she needs. Men who got addicted to her spent millions on her. Among them, most of the men are engineers in abroad.

In this case, a youth, who lost Rs 45 lakhs on her, complained to the police. Police filed the case and arrested three including Shruti, her mother, and another person.

During the investigations, it has been revealed that she cheated many men. More than ten cell phones and laptops were seized in her home. In this case, the police have also disabled her Facebook account.

It has been reported that more than ten men have been reported to have been arrested since Shruti’s arrest. Recently, the police seized 15 Lakhs worth jewelry from Shruthi and remanded her in the court. Police also started investigating her bank accounts and also finding all the cheating loopholes of her.

Shruti Haasan piled on a few kilos to play a feisty small town Punjabi girl in Behen Hogi Teri. The film, also starring Rajkummar Rao, is set to release on June 2.

Speaking about the issue, Shruthi said, “I think every character requires a certain look and vibe for it to be as real as possible. Given the family and background that Binny Arora was from, she needed to be slightly fuller, and that’s why I had to gain the weight.”

Shruthi, who will soon begin work on her next film Sanghamitra, is back to her fit self. She further added that “Thankfully it paid off given the amazing response our trailer got. Soon after the film shoot, I got back to my intense workout regime and made sure I lost all that weight and then some, especially since I was going to start my combat training prep for Sangamithra”.
