It has shattered the collection record of Race Gurram which collected $102,782 at the U.S Box office in its premier show but not able to break the record of S/O Satyamurthy, which has grossed $347,267 at the US box office in premiere shows.

Well, let us wait and watch whether Sarrainodu will shatter the record of Race Gurram and S/o Satyamurthy, which earned $205,823 and $136,168 respectively, at the U.S. box office on their first day.

Story

Ghana (Allu Arjun) is a guy who is a useless and waste fellow in the eyes of his caring and loving father. He settle cases in his violent way, which comes to Sripathi (Srikanth), a lawyer. He falls in love with MLA (Catherine Tresa) of his area, whom he met at a traffic signal. He follows her and makes her falls in love with him over the course of time. His family members agree to marry him with MLA. But MLA, puts a condition to Ghana over his quarrels. When he is about to promise that, Mahalaxmi (Rakul Preet Singh) appears and asks Ghana to help and rescue her from Ghana’s (Adhi Pinisetty) gang, whom Ghana hate for his deeds. Who is Dhanush?? Who is Mahalaxmi?? What is problem between Ghana, Dhanush and Mahalaxmi?? forms the rest of story.

Cast and Performance

Allu Arjun is terrific in his role. He carried whole movie on his shoulders. He pulled of his mass role with super conviction. Adhi Pinisetty is ruthless in his terms of performance as a ruthless villain in the name of Dhanush. Boyapati made him a complementing villain for Allu Arjun. Catherine Tresa is average in her role. Rakul Preet Singh is a bit more on emotion in her role and performed accordingly.Rajeev Kanakala is fantastic in his role. Annapurna as Allu Arjun’s grandmother is nice. Jayaprakash, Srikanth, Brahmanandham, Prudhvi, Sai Kumar, Pradeep Rawat, Jayapraksh Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Surekha Vani, Vidyu Raman and others are good to the extent of the role they are given.

Writing Department

Story of the movie is routine. Screenplay is mediocre and is gripping at places. Dialogues are okay.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by SS Thaman are well received by audience. They are catchy and created waves. His background score is superb and elevated to a mass level. Cinematography by Rishi Punjabi is nice and visuals are treat to watch. Editing is good, but should have chopped some scenes out. Work of editor can be experienced in intro scene of Allu Arjun itself. Stunts and action sequences composed by various masters are fantastic and will be well received by masses and are of Boyapati mark. Production values of Geetha Arts are super rich.

Verdict

Movie begins in Boyapati’s mass formula followed by well conceived Allu Arjun’s introduction in which action movies are well choreographed backed up by rich visuals and nice edit pattern. This half goes in a formulaic screenplay with a comedy scene and a love scene with songs at regular intervals. Screenplay is a big let down till the court scene and from the court scene it gains momentum. Fight scene after court scene gives much required elevation to the movie but “It’s a private party” song which comes after this acts as a speed breaker despite it’s well composed moves. Interval block is purely a mass show of Allu Arjun in regular Boyapati’s location, a temple and his trademark heroic dialogues. This half is average with its mediocre screenplay. Second half starts with a flash back. There is no change in the screenplay which went awry in the first half of the first half itself and and gained momentum in the latter half of first half and go into its regular awry way in second half. This movie is a oora mass commercial entertainer from Boyapati Sreenu with Allu Arjun which has its pros and cons stuffed together. Below average second half and it’s last 30 mins, mediocre screenplay are spoilers of the movie. To sum up, it’s a Allu Arjun’s Oora Mass Show!!

Stylish star Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Sarrainodu’ which is set to hit screens tomorrow, seems to have heavy competition from power star.

Well, we are not talking about Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar’, which already bombed at box office, but about Kannada power star Puneet Rajkumar whose new film ‘Chakravyuha’ is also releasing on the same day. Well, Chakravyuha will not threat Sarrainodu in Telugu sates but in Karnataka only. Young Tiger Jr NTR has also sung ‘Gelaya Gelaya’ song for Chakravyuha only. So, now NTR and Power Star giving the tough cmpetetion to Sarainodu in Karnataka.

It may be noted that apart from the Telugu states, Sarrainodu is also being planned for a mammoth release in Karnataka owing to Bunny’s following. A media meet has also been arranged today to promote the film in Karnataka. But, Sarrainodu will have to bypass Chakravyuha to create an impact in Karnataka.

The bombing of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ at the box office and the reshoots are showing effect on Allu Arjun’s forth coming action entertainer ‘Sarrainodu’, which is set to hit screens on 22nd April.

The re-censor has delayed the dispatch of Disc Drives to overseas resulting in cancellation of premiers in several locations causing staggering losses to the distributors. Well, the situation is not encouraging in the Telugu states either as permission was denied to hold benefit shows in Hyderabad.

The very first show of Sarrainodu will begin at 8.30 AM in Prasads IMAX on April 22. Undeterred fans are still hopeful of having 25 to 30 benefit shows from midnight.

Earlier, there was huge buzz for the film in trade but the re-shoot has made the matters worse the Allu Arjun starrer as distributors, who were cautious after ‘Sardaar’s result, have backed out after the re-shoot forcing Allu Arvind to have own release.

After Sardaar Gabbar Singh all the mega fans are waiting for the review of Stylish star Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu movie. Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa are playing the female lead roles opposite Bunny in the flick. Kollywood actor Aadi Pinisetty played the negative role in the movie.

Producer Allu Aravind is also ver much confident about the movie and he said that Sarrainodu will be the most stylish film and techinicially it is equal to Bolllywood film. Sarainodu is said to be an action entertainer, and Boyapati Srinu directs it. SS Thaman scored the music. Allu Aravind produced it under Geetha Arts Banner.

We have already reported that the makers of Sarrainodu have planned a grand pre-release function at the RK Beach in Visakhapatnam on April 10th.

Film’s Producer Allu Arvind and AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao have held a press conference at the Dolphin Hotel in Visakhapatnam to brief about the arrangements of the upcoming spectacular event.

Allu Arvind said that Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao has asked him to conduct this function in Visakhapatnam in a bid to ensure Film Industry based in Hyderabad slowly shifts to Andhra Pradesh especially Vizag city. He added that Chiranjeevi will be the chief guest for the event to be attended by Allu Arjun and the principle cast of the film. Music director Thaman’s live performance will be a highlight.

Minister Ganta said that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu wishes for film events and shootings happened in AP. State govt will provide full support to actors who come forward to build studios in Vizag.

We have already reported that there will be no audio release function for Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Sarainodu’ and the album will directly be released into market on April 1st.

So, makers have devised a different strategy for promotions. The much talked about item song starring homely, yet hot Anjali has been released the other day. Titled ‘Blockbuster’, the song has thumping beats of Thaman SS, energetic dances moves of Allu Arjun and Anjali giving wild expressions while draped in a saree.

The ‘blockbuster’ song has been well received by fans as it has garnered diver 6.2 lakh views in just two days. The song is expected to be a visual feast in the film.

Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa as leading ladies, Sarrainodu is in its last leg of shooting. Film is slated for worldwide release on April 22.
