With the stupendous success of Oh Baby, Samantha has proved that she can pull off a hit without the presence of any star hero. The film has collected around Rs. 40 crores and made Samantha a female superstar in Tollywood. She is now the only heroine after Nayanthara and Anushka, who can pull off blockbusters on their shoulders.

We hear that Samantha also hiked her remuneration after the success of Oh Baby. Apparently, she is now charging about Rs.2 crores per film, which is very high. No other heroine in Tollywood gets that much pay for a single film. Even Producers are willing to pay her the quoted amount.

That proves the stardom of Samantha in the industry right now. Currently, she is in talks for a couple of other female-oriented projects. One of them will be directed by Oh Baby’s director, Nandini Reddy.

As per the reports, Samantha signed a project with director Nandini Reddy and the movie is going to be the remake of South Korean hit film ‘Miss Granny’. Suresh productions banner will be bankrolling this project. The movie runs with the story of a 70-year-old woman who magically turns into a 20-year-old.

It seems like Samantha is super excited to do this film. She will be joining the sets of her upcoming movie ‘Majili’ with Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Shiva Nirvana. If the buzz is to be believed, after wrapping up the shooting of ‘Majili’, Samantha will take the remake of ‘Miss Granny’ on sets.
