Samantha has recently come up with the mystery thriller ‘U-Turn’ which is the remake of a Kannada movie super hit movie with the same title. Pawan Kumar who directed the original version directed the Telugu and Tamil versions as well.
The movie has been receiving positive reviews but is not performing up to the mark in terms of collections. However, Samantha is all set to start another remake movie. As per the reports, Samantha signed a project with director Nandini Reddy and the movie is going to be the remake of South Korean hit film ‘Miss Granny’. Suresh productions banner will be bankrolling this project. The movie runs with the story of a 70-year-old woman who magically turns into a 20-year-old.
It seems like Samantha is super excited to do this film. She will be joining the sets of her upcoming movie ‘Majili’ with Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Shiva Nirvana. If the buzz is to be believed, after wrapping up the shooting of ‘Majili’, Samantha will take the remake of ‘Miss Granny’ on sets.
