After the disastrous performance of Zero, Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan is eyeing for a successful comeback. The actor has been going through a lean patch since quite some time as he was unable to score a hit since Chennai Express, which was released way back in 2013.

Currently, he is prepping up to act in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic, tentatively titled as Salute. The film will be jointly produced by Shararukh and Siddarth Roy Kapur. It was supposed to start rolling from May but according to latest reports, it may go on floors in February itself.

As Sharukh’s dates are available and he is in no mood to take rest now, the makers have come to this decision and planning to start shooting in Russia next month. A huge set is also being erected in the Film City in Mumbai where some of the key scenes would be shot. The rest of the details of cast and crew is expected to be announced soon.

Bollywood film industry is gearing up for the biopic of Astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Rakesh Sharma, AC, Hero of the Soviet Union, is a former Indian Air Force pilot who flew aboard Soyuz T-11, launched on 2 April 1984, as part of the Intercosmos programme. Rakesh Sharma is the only Indian citizen to travel in space and it is a proud moment for Bollywood to bring his life on to the screen. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan accepted to play him on the screen and this is going to be huge.

The latest update on the project is that SRK started the preparation for this movie and he will start the shoot from September. The actor will shoot for the film non-stop for two months and take a break in December for the promotions of his movie Zero. Then again, he will resume the shoot in January next year.
