Super Star Rajinikanth collaborated with the successful director Shankar for the movie 2 Point O. The film was supposed to hit the screens for Diwali 2017 but due to multiple delays, the movie has failed to make way to the screens. Rajini fans and the audience were disappointed with the postponements of the movie. The delay in the VFX work has become the reason for the movie not releasing this year so far. The latest update is that the movie is not hitting the screens this year.

The film that was made on a budget of 350 crores completed the shoot long back. The initial plan by the film unit is to release the movie either for Diwali or Independence Day. The sources from Kollywood revealed that the movie will release next year. Starring Amy Jackson in the leading lady role, the film is produced by Lyca Productions. AR Rahman is the music director.

Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Robot 2.0 has been making news for almost two years, and yet there’s no clarity about its release. So far, the film’s release has been postponed twice. Not long ago, the makers of the film announced that it will hit the screens worldwide by April 2018.

As per the latest reports, the film Robot 2.0 is most likely to be postponed again, and the reason is that the exhaustive visual effects work which is taking longer than expected and the makers are not keen to rush the process. It is expected that the post-production work will be wrapped up by July and the release is being pushed for August.

Shankar’s directorial Robot 2.0 stars Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. The makers have so far released a couple of posters and a making video. The film’s teaser is expected to be released next month in a grand launch in Hyderabad. Though there’s no official word about the film from the maker’s end.

The makers of the Nation’s most awaited sequel Robo 2.0 have announced the fresh release date of this flick. They are eyeing on the Indian Republic day as the release date.

Earlier all the movie lovers thought that this flick will be released for Diwali of this year. Later the movie was postponed for next year’s Sankranti. However, everyone thought that Pongal holidays will be the right choice as it has more than 12 days of holidays. But the director Shankar has increased the VFX works after watching Baahubali-2 which in turn delayed this movie more further. The production house Lyca have now confirmed that this flick is going to get released on 25th of 2018’s January, last Friday of that month and one day prior to the Indian Republic day. This movie is being made with 400 crores of budget and became the costliest flick in Indian film history.

Directed by Shankar, this movie is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Thalaivar Rajini Kanth is the male lead. Amy is the female lead, and AR Rahman is scoring the music.
