Ranveer Singh has put to rest all rumours regarding tying the knot with Deepika Padukone later this year.

In a recent media interaction, “It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So we are quite occupied and distracted.”

Rumours were rife that the couple would have a destination wedding later this year.However, Ranveer, “So, if there is any announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops.”

Ranveer also admitted, “Deepika is a very special person in my life.” Ranveer further added, “I can’t think of any actor in today’s time doing double shifts. I remember while shooting for Ram Leela, she was also juggling between Chennai Express and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I love her vibe; she’s so calm, like a Buddhist monk. She’s an extremely warm person, genuine and very, very kind to one and all. Beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.”

The real life couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who scorched the Silver Screen with their chemistry in “Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela” are all set to recreate the magic with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. And for that the couple would be seen shooting in Jaipur.

While Ranveer has already shot a few parts of the film with Priyanka Chopra, the leg with Deepika would be shot in Jaipur. They are likely to shoot it at Amer Mahal and that too for a month. Deepika would join the Team as soon as she wraps up Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, for which she is shooting with Ranbir Kapoor in Delhi.
Bajirao Mastani is a period drama and a love story between BajiRao and his second wife Mastani. Priyanka Chopra will be seen as Ranveer’s first wife while Deepika would play Mastani. The film is scheduled for a 2016 release.
