Top actress Rakul Preet Singh has today started shooting for Ram Charan starrer “Dhruva”.

Rakul Preet Singh has taken a brief break from films post the successes of “Nannaku Prematho” and ‘Sarrainodu”. Now, she is very much excited to be back on the sets to share screen space with Ram Charan with whom she had already paired up in “Bruce Lee: The Fighter”.

Soon after joining the unit of “Dhruva,” Rakul Preet took a selfie with her stylist, Geethika Chadha, and posted the photo on her Twitter page writing, “Day 1 #Dhruva ..superexcited!Cheers 2 R first film 2gether @geetikachadha #lights #camera #action #passion.”

Meanwhile, Ram Charan took to his Facebook page to inform his fans that he had to reach the sets of “Dhruva” late due to heavy traffic on his way. “Peak hour traffic… Late to shoot. ‘It doesn’t matter how ur day STARTED..It’sabt how u END it…;) good day!!! #‎Dhruva#‎happymorning,”posted Charan alongside adding a couple of photos of him in the middle of the traffic.

Even though Ram Charan’s upcoming action thriller “Dhruva” was launched a few months ago, the regular shooting of the film is moving at snail’s pace as Charan is busy with the preparations of his father Megastar Chiranjeevi’s most awaited 150th project.

Ram Charan has been participating in the script discussions and is also taking care of the preproduction work. Hence, he is unable to allocate his dates for Dhruva forcing the unit to film only a couple of minor schedules. This delay has already started showing its impact with Bollywood cinematographer Aseem Mishra quitting the project citing delay.

Aseem Mishra has now been replaced by talented cinematographer PS Vinod, who garnered acclaim for his work in Manam, Oopiri and Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Panjaa’, which was Vinod’s first breakthrough.

The next schedule of Dhruva is slated to begin from June 3rd in which Charan will take part.
