Jayam Ravi starrer Comali has fallen into a big controversy now. The film’s theatrical trailer received huge criticism from everyone. Since the trailer carried a scene mocking the political entry of Rajinikanth, the fans found it as a fault and the makers had to an apology.

In a press note that he sent, Jayam Ravi asked for an apology and assured that the scene would not make it to the final cut.

“I would like to make it clear that the element was included in a positive light. Being a hardcore Superstar Rajini sir fan, I have been as eager and anxious as any other follower to see him embark on his political journey. We all grew up watching his movies, his action and style had mandatorily become an inherent part of our nature and there is no way that we would show such disrespect to him in any way or his fans. What has made him more lovable than before is that he saw the trailer of Comali and appreciated our team for the creative appeal and con-gratulated us for coming up with an unique idea. However, to see that such an ideation without any deliberate intent has been receiving resentments and some negative feedbacks from a section of his fans, we have decided to delete the portion in the movie.” posted Jayam Ravi.”

Super Star Rajinikanth and director Shankar collaborated for a mega magnum opus titled 2.0. The film released in Telugu and Tamil languages already and went on to do average business at the box-office. The movie unit planned to release the film in China and many top production/distribution houses in the country competed to grab the rights for the movie.

Unfortunately, the Chinese company HY Media that brought the rights of the movie for a whopping amount called off the release of the movie in the last minute. The film was supposed to hit more than 50K screens on July 12th. But, the distributor backed out now since he is not sure of the movie which needs to collect 175 crores which are the only way to gain the profits on the movie.

The negotiations are going on but there is no clarity if the film will release on a later date.

Tamil star hero Dhanush is known as a multitalented actor. Apart from being an actor, he is also a well-known singer, lyricist, writer, director and also a producer. Dhanush has produced many films under his banner Wunderbar Films, which also includes the movies of his own.

Reacting to the news, Dhanush said that there is no truth in it. He said in spite of all the flops he scored in the past, he will still continue producing the movies. He also added that soon he will bankroll a film with Superstar Rajinikanth as the lead and assured that it will be a feast for all the Thalaivar fans.

There is an amazing response to the actor’s announcement and at the same time, there is also a criticism about the actor entering the politics. In this scenario, actor Satyaraj who is popular for playing the role of Kattappa in Baahubali opened up about the same and criticised Rajinikanth heavily.

“Politics is a platform for doing direct service to the people. Rajinikanth’s attitude is different. He took a lot of time to announce his political entry. He is coming into the politics with a strategy. He is doing business in the name of politics. He should approach the opinion of people before taking a decision.” said Satyaraj.

Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Robot 2.0 has been making news for almost two years, and yet there’s no clarity about its release. So far, the film’s release has been postponed twice. Not long ago, the makers of the film announced that it will hit the screens worldwide by April 2018.

As per the latest reports, the film Robot 2.0 is most likely to be postponed again, and the reason is that the exhaustive visual effects work which is taking longer than expected and the makers are not keen to rush the process. It is expected that the post-production work will be wrapped up by July and the release is being pushed for August.

Shankar’s directorial Robot 2.0 stars Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. The makers have so far released a couple of posters and a making video. The film’s teaser is expected to be released next month in a grand launch in Hyderabad. Though there’s no official word about the film from the maker’s end.

Thalaivar Rajinikanth is currently acting for the Mafia based flick Kaala. However, the makers are getting a headache with some case filed on this flick.

A person named Rajasekharan who hails from Chennai has filed a case in Chennai sessions court on Kaala and team. He claims that the story of Kaala was his own script and he narrated the script to Rajinikanth in 1995. But producer Dhanush and Pa Ranjith copied the story and making a movie out of it. To his petition, the Court has asked Rajini Kanth to file a counter. Recently this case came to the bench, and after some hearings from both sides, the court declared that the final verdict would be given to 26th of this month.

Meanwhile, the team of Kaala is shooting some key scenes in Mumbai. Produced by Dhanush, this movie is directed by Ranjith. Music will be scored by Santosh Sivan.

The Supreme Court on Friday sent notices to South India’s superstar Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth in connection with the alleged cheating case involving with Rajini starrer ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

A private firm named ‘Ad Bureau advertising PVT Ltd alleged that after they had financed for completion of Kochadaiyaan, Latha Rajinikanth, who was the guarantor, sold the distribution rights of the film for Tamil Nadu area to another party, while the private firm was promised the distribution rights in return for their funding.

The case was lodged in June last year, but the Karnataka High Court quashed it in March 2016. Now, the firm has challenged the verdict in the apex court. Responding to the newly filed petition, the Supreme Court has sent notices to Latha Rajinikanth and asked her to answer in few days.

Meanwhile, Rajni’s Kabali is gearing up for worldwide release on July 22.

Rajinikanth fans win the debate as their favorite actor Rajinikanth has come out clean. The makers of Kabali and loyal fans of Rajinikanth have clarified on a website that the Kabali poster that has caught everyone’s attention is a fan-made one and not the official poster of Kabali.

Irrfan Khan, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Madaari, said that the similarity between the films’ posters,“Even I didn’t know that. We are small filmmakers, and I saw that Rajinikanthji’s film stole the poster of our film. You see his film’s poster and see our film’s poster. No big deal about it. Watch his film and watch our film, too.” This quote made many believe that the poster has actually been stolen considering the glaring similarity between the two.

But it seems it was just a fragment of a fan’s imagination. Both the posters had the faces of the lead actors, Irrfan Khan and Rajinikanth, with numerous buildings standing horizontally on their faces. Ever since Rajinikanth’s Kabali was announced various posters of the film have been doing the rounds. Rajinikanth had shared two posters on his Twitter account in September last year when the shooting had begun.

Many official posters of the film have come out after that -the one with Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte and China actor Wilson Choa, one in which he is staring at a gun in his hand, one where he is sitting on a sofa and one showing him with sunglasses inside the profile.

Superstar Rajinikanth has gone to the United States. Everyone knew this, but there are too many versions about the purpose behind his USA visit. While some say that it is for a health check up, some say that it is a serious health problem. Trashing these rumors, few says that he has gone on a vacation. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s brother confirmed that he has gone for a health checkup.

“Rajinikanth has gone to USA for a normal medical test. He will be back before the release of the Kabali movie which has been scheduled for July 15. Kabali will be a good movie and Rajinikanth is doing well. My family was indebted to the people for their love and affection for Rajnikanth” elder brother of Rajinikanth, Sathyanarayana, told reporters at Thanjavur when he came to offer the prayers to Lord Shiva Temple.

Kabali is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 15th.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ release is said to have been postponed again.

‘Kabali’ was earlier slated for release on April 14. Due to the election fever in Tamil Nadu, the upcoming gangster drama was pushed to May end. Now, it has been pushed to June second week owing to delay in post-production work.

The film directed by young Pa Ranjith has already completed shooting formalities and post production works are in full swing. Rajinikanth’s makeover and body language will be on a different level in this drama in which he is playing the role of an aging gangster.

After facing back to back disasters, Rajinikanth has dared to trust a young director and gave him the responsibility of directing this crucial film. Radhika Apte will be seen as Rajinikanth’s wife in this film produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.

London beauty Amy Jackson is all over the moon once she got confirmed in Robo 2 as the lead heroine.

Rajnikanth starrer Robo 2 is being directed by Shankar. This will be a sequel to the first part “Robo” that released in 2010 and became a huge hit.

Amy was contacted by Director Shankar, who narrated the role of her character in the film. Knowing that this would be a sci-fi film starring Rajnikanth, she immediately accepted the offer. The sequel is also talked about having a good number of visual effects than the first part. As part of it Amy was sent to the UK where moulds of her can be prepared and used for visual effects purpose.

Currently, Rajnikanth is shooting for “Kabali” which will be hitting the theatres coming Pongal. Amy Jackson is working for Dhanush-Velraj untitled film that will be releasing in 2016.

“Robo” saw Aishwarya Rai as the lead heroine, while the heroines like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone were considered for the second part. Finally, Shanker has settled for his “I” heroine, Amy Jackson.

For the anti-role, many popular names were considered. Tamil hero Vikram was rumoured of doing this role but wasn’t confirmed. Later on Shah Rukh Khan was also contacted for this crazy role. Now, talk has that Hollywood Superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is being considered to fight against Rajnikanth in “Robo-2.”

With all such things going around “Robo-2,” expectations are building high over this movie. This film will start its regular shooting from December and may release at the end of 2016.

Super Star Rajini Kanth has confirmed the title for his upcoming film. The film named as Kabali, and is based on Chennai Mafaia don.

The film confirming the title, added that Rajni will play the character Kabaleeshwaran, who was a mafia don in Tamil Nadu.

Rajni Kanth has earlier also played the role of mafia don in Billa, Basha, Dhalapathi which earned him huge number of fan following across nation. Since his last two films kochadaiyaan and Lingaa were flop at the box-office, Rajni and his fans are expecting a hit of this mafia film.

Superstar Rajnikanth’s animated epic Kochadaiiyaan is still not out yet, with confusion over the release dates in full swing, but his next movie, directed by K S Ravikumar, Lingaa has already launched and is completing its filming in a real fast and efficient manner.

Apparently, the first schedule of shooting which involved the pre independence sections of the movie has been completed in Mysore and the second schedule set in Hyderabad will soon begin.

Sonakshi Sinha, one of the female leads in the movie making her debut in to Kollywood, seems happy to have completed her part in the first session of shooting and expressed her satisfaction and gratitude to the crew in her social media page thus:

A part of the shoot in Mandya is also over, according to reports.

K S Ravikumar and Rajnikanth, of course, had previously worked together in Muthu and Padayappa; both of which turned out to be huge record setting hits in the industry.

Superstar Rajnikanth’s new film titled Lingaa launched recently and the movie shooting is currently progressing in Mysore . The next shooting schedule will starts in Hyderabad. Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty will play the female lead roles in the movie.
