Going by the latest buzz, we have come to know that the supreme court has expressed anger on Latha Rajnikanth, wife of superstar Rajnikanth. The case has been coming to the hearing for a long time now and the latest verdict might be a wake-up call.

Going more into the details, we have come to know that Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya has produced the film Kochadaiyan and Latha Rajnikanth has taken 6.20 Cr rupees as a debt from a Bengaluru based company.

After the failure of the film, Latha has failed to repay the money and this has created a lot of disturbances. The company has approached the court and the court has ordered Latha Rajnikanth to pay back the money by July 3rd. If not, she had to face legal action for the same.

In a setback for Latha Rajinikanth, the Supreme Court directed that her company pay Rs 6.20 crore to Ad Bureau Advertising Pvt Ltd. The Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by her company Media One which had submitted that of the pending Rs 10 crores, Rs 9.20 crores had been paid to Ad Bureau.

Ad Bureau had lent Rs 10 crore to Media One headed by Latha Rajinikanth for the post-production of the animated Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan. In a police complaint filed on November 2014, against Latha and Kochadaiiyaan producer J Murali Manohar, Ad Bureau Advertising Pvt Ltd accusing them of cheating after agreeing to provide them distribution rights for the movie in Tamil Nadu and also an investment of Rs 10 crore after a guarantee by Latha Rajinikanth.

In February, the Supreme Court had directed Latha Rajinikanth to pay the Rs 6.20 crore with interest within a twelve week period. As director of Media One, she undertook to be a guarantor for the loan.

A bench comprising Justices Ranjan Gogoi and R Banumathi said that if the amount is not paid within the stipulated time, Latha Rajinikanth would have to pay it herself.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the historic demonetization, Superstar Rajinikanth was the very first celeb to openly praise the PM. However, the same step is now posing a threat to Rajini’s name and fame.

Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth is reportedly running an educational institution, Ashram Vidyalaya, in Tamil Nadu. It is heard that the staff of these schools have not been paid their monthly salaries yet. After patiently waiting for long, the staff started protesting against the school management, which claimed Cyclone Vardah, Jayalalithaa’s demise, bulk bank holidays besides demonetization as the reasons for delay in disbursing salaries.

A case had earlier been filed against Latha Rajinikanth regarding the “Kochadaiyan” debacle and unsettled loan dispute. Now, her name has once again been dragged in this protest. In fact, it is not of Latha but the name of Rajini that is getting tarnished.

The Supreme Court on Friday sent notices to South India’s superstar Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth in connection with the alleged cheating case involving with Rajini starrer ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

A private firm named ‘Ad Bureau advertising PVT Ltd alleged that after they had financed for completion of Kochadaiyaan, Latha Rajinikanth, who was the guarantor, sold the distribution rights of the film for Tamil Nadu area to another party, while the private firm was promised the distribution rights in return for their funding.

The case was lodged in June last year, but the Karnataka High Court quashed it in March 2016. Now, the firm has challenged the verdict in the apex court. Responding to the newly filed petition, the Supreme Court has sent notices to Latha Rajinikanth and asked her to answer in few days.

Meanwhile, Rajni’s Kabali is gearing up for worldwide release on July 22.
