Rajinikanth’s Kaala released big recently in Telugu and Tamil amidst a lot of expectations. Meanwhile, the film’s failure has disappointed many including the popular actor and director NA Chandra Sekhar who openly commented that Rajini himself is the reason for the failure of the movie. Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s father Chandrasekhar said that Rajinikanth’s comments on Sterlite Protest and the other happenings have come become a reason for the film’s failure.

Chandrasekhar commented in a sarcastic manner that the new entries in politics have no time for self-analysis. “It is an actor’s responsibility to do a film based on the problems faced by people but Kaala was nothing different. Rajini’s comments have become controversial and later became the reason for the film’s failure,” he commented.

Rajinikanth’s portions in the first schedule of Kaala have been completed in Mumbai and he is expected to return back to Chennai. Sources say that after a short break, Rajinikanth will resume the shoot and in the meantime, he is planning to meet his fans for the second time in August.

There is a strong buzz that Rajinikanth will announce his political entry, and that’s why he is strengthening his fans club. Ranjith of Kabali and Madras fame is directing Kaala, which is being produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush.

Meanwhile, Kaala has an ensemble of actors including Huma Quereshi, Samuthirakani, Nana Patekar Eeshwari Rao, Dileepan and Anjali Paatil. The film is expected to simultaneously release in Telugu and Hindi as the producers are planning to make use of the wide market of Superstar Rajinikanth.
