Another Telugu Director Is Ready To Make Some Noise In B-Town

From last few years, quite a few Telugu filmmakers are making some noise in Bollywood. Earlier, it was only Ram Gopal Varma, who got immense popularity in the northern region as well. He was out beaten by SS Rajamouli who stunned the entire nation with his magnum opus Baahubali.

Recently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga made a lot of noise with his controversial yet super successful Kabir Singh. Now, another Telugu director is aiming to join this list. He is none other than Prakash Kovelamudi, son of K.Raghavendra Rao. Prakash has earlier directed films like Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and Size Zero.

Now, he is coming up with Hindi film Judgemental Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao in the lead role. The film released today and it has been getting rave reviews from the press and international premiers. With all these positive reports, it looks like Prakash is also set to join the Telugu brigade in Bollywood.

Raghavendra Rao Eyeing Young Directors

Legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao has been staying off from the films for a long time. His last directorial venture was Om Namo Venkateshaya, which was released in 2017. Recently, he announced a new project, which will not be directed by him but instead he will produce it.

This will be an anthology with three stories. Raghavendra Rao has also stated that the three stories will be directed by three different directors and will have three different heroines. Naga Shaurya will be the lead hero in all the stories. Apparently, Raghavendra Rao has finalized two of the three directors.

They are Prakash Kovelamudi and Krish. Prakash is the son of Raghavendra Rao who directed the soon-to-be-released Judgemental Hai Kya. Meanwhile, it seems that Raghavendra Rao approached young directors like Prashanth Varma, Gautham Tinnannuri and KVR Mahendra to be the third director of the film but he is yet to get a word back from them.

Taapsee Shows Her Double Standards Towards Media

Actress Taapsee Pannu has become a star in Bollywood and thus she is not acting in many films down the south. Her latest film here is Game Over which is all set to release today. She is busy promoting the film in Hyderabad, for the past few days. In one of the promotional interviews, she was asked about her controversial remark on director K. Raghavendra Rao.

She said that Raghavendra Rao is like her mentor and they still talk regularly. Apparently, he was the one who told her not to react on the negativity spreading on her statements. She stated that it was media which misinterpreted her words in a negative way.
 
If we get into the story, speaking in a talk show in the past, Taapsee said Raghavendra Rao is a guy with the Midas touch who throws flowers and fruits on the midriffs of the heroines. She added that when her turn came, he decided to throw coconuts. Isn’t that obvious that the actress is mocking him by her statements? Well, she says no.

Attack On Director K Raghavendra Rao

In a shocking incident of a violent attack, the senior filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao has become a victim. The senior director and producer K Raghavendra Rao encountered a weird situation at his home yesterday. The incident has happened yesterday morning, but it has come to out notice lately, and the complete details are covered in this story. Going more into the issue, Ananthapuram based youth Vallipi Raveendra, aged 26 tried to attack Raghavendra Rao at his house with an iron rod and K Raghavendra Rao tried to confront him to know what he has come for.

Vallipi Raveendra went on to smash windowpanes and other glass items, before being overpowered by Raghavendra Rao’s son and the house watchman. This happened when Raghavendra Rao is going out from his home. As per the primary investigation by the police officials, it is revealed that the youth alleges that the story of Sri Rama Dasu belongs to him. But the director clearly clarified him that the film’s story was Bharavi’s. Still he failed to pay an ear to the senior filmmaker and went on to attack. When the watchman Babu tried to stop him, Raveendra attacked the watchman too who later survived with multiple injuries.

As per the complaint received by the senior director, the Police officials have registered cases against the offender and sent him to judicial remand. With this sudden incident, the director has strengthened the security for his house and office.

Music Sittings for Nag’s new film

On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri festival, veteran director K Raghavendra Rao has started the music sittings of his new film with Akkineni Nagarjuna.

We have already reported that Raghavendra Rao will direct Nagarjuna in another devotional movie after ‘Annamayya,’ ‘Sri Ramadasu’ and ‘Shirdi Sai.’ Nag will be seen as a devotee, Hathiram, of Lord Venkateswara. MM Keeravani has been roped into score music for this film.

Raghavendra Rao has the habit of commencing music sittings of his every film in Tirupati. Continuing the trend, he had yesterday started the music sittings with Keeravani and a set of singers.

Raghavendra Rao revealed this news on social media and added that he will soon disclose the details of the launch and regular shooting of the film.
