As per reports, the prolonged search for the third heroine for Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu has come to an end. Malayali actress Madonna Sebastian will be reprising her role from the original Premam for the Telugu remake.

Shruti Haasan and Anuapama Parameswaran have already been roped in, and Madonna will be joining the crew soon. Shruti Haasan is playing the role of Malar essayed by Sai Pallavi in the original while Anupama Parameswaran is reprising her role from the original.

Earlier the likes of Aisha Sharma, Rakul Preet, Amyra Dastur, Regina, etc. were considered for the role played by Malayalam beauty Madonna Sebastian in the original, but she has grabbed the role finally. Makers are yet to officially confirm it.

Naga Chaitanya will be seen playing three stages of his life and hence romancing 3 different heroines. Director Chandu Mondeti is making his second film.

Naga Chaitanya is playing three stages of life in this film: as a teenager, college student and middle-aged man. Earlier, he grew the beard and put on weight for his role as a college student. Top actress Shruti Haasan is playing his teacher in the film, and the portions involving the two have already been shot.

Now, for the teenager role, he is getting slimmed. Malayalam girl Anupama Parameswaran, who played the leading lady of teenage hero in the original film, will reprise her role in Telugu. Expectations are huge on this film as it is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Premam’. ‘Karthikeya’ fame Chandoo Mondeti is the director of this romantic drama.

The actor is working hard on his body and undergoing necessary body transformations for his characters.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s new movie Majnu, which is a remake of Malayalam super hit film Premam launched today with an official pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. Chaitu’s brother Akhil clapped the board for the muhurat shot of the flick. The regular shooting of the movie is going to start soon. In this movie Chaitu is going to romance with three heroines.

Actress Anupama Parameswaran, who also acted in the original version is also acting in Majnu. Shruti Hassan will be seen in a role of lecturer in the movie. Chirutha fame actress Neha Sharma’s sister Aisha Sharma is the third heroine in the movie.

The movie will be directed by Chandu mondeti of of Karthikeya fame. Meanwhile Naga CHaitanya’s new movie Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is getting ready for release soon.

Naga Chaitanya, who is busy in the shooting of “Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo” will be pairing Shruti Hassan in his next film. Shruti Hassan, who is on cloud nine with the success of recently released film “Srimanthudu“, has been casted in for Naga Chaitanya’s next flick, which is a remake of Malayalam super hit romantic love story “Premam”.

Naga Chaitanya will be playing the George character from the original film, whereas Shruti Hassan to play Malar’s role in this flick. Rumours also have that the makers are planning to rope the heroine of the original film Anupama Parameswaran. Another actress Sai Pallavi to do as one of the heroines as the movie has three female leads.

The makers of this film first approached Parineeti Chopra, who didn’t agree due her call sheets. Later Shruti Hassan was consulted, who gave a nod and shown her interest in acting opposite Chaitu.

This yet to be titled film will take off from January 2016. “Karthikeya” fame Chandu Mondeti will be directing this film.
