It seems another senior actor is much-likely to join politics. As per the reports, South popular actor Prabhu is going to step into Congress. Prabhu is the son of late actor Sivaji Ganeshan. Unlike his father who enjoyed star status for a long time, Prabhu has been away from the limelight from the past few years.

Recently Prabhu attended an event and revealed some details about his political entry. He stated that he will join politics with a good plan. Earlier, when Sivaji Ganesan was alive, he worked with Kamarajar and that’s how Sivaji’s family got close with Congress Party. On this note, Prabhu wants to join the Congress Party. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is expected to visit the house of Shivaji Ganesan and pay his honours soon. On that day, Prabhu is much likely to join the Congress Party. It seems like all the senior actors are showing interest in Congress now.

Senior actress Kushboo who has joined DMK is also now planning to hold the Congress flag very soon. So, Prabhu is also going to show more interest in Congress as he shares a great bond with Kushboo and the duo have been friends from a long time.

Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, senior Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and a few others have recently met at a function, and the pic is now receiving immense likes from their fans.

Big B has posted this lovely photo on social media. He called himself lucky to be in the association of such legends. He, however, did not reveal where the picture was taken. Senior Malayalam actor Mammootty is also seen in the picture. Sachin and Big B share a close association. Nag has already acted with Big B in a few Hindi films, and because of this association only, the megastar has played a cameo in Akkineni’s ‘Manam.’

It is believed that the picture was taken at a promotional event of a brand Kalyan Jewellers for which all these legends are acting as endorsers.

The picture of Bollywod megastar Amitabh Bachchan having meal with Tamil actor Prabhu and family in April 2015, after launching Kalyan jewellers, has become controversial as media claimed that they dined in golden plates. The alleged picture of the family dining went viral online and netizens condemned the act.

Amitabh Bachchan has now cleared the matter on ‘Prabhu’s thali’. He posted the below message from Prabhu on his blog:

‘Shri Amitabh Bachchan, was visiting our home for the first time after our father,Shr.Sivaji Ganesan’s passing.The visit of Mr.Bachchan was very special to our family.He came home to pay respect to my father and spend time with our family.It was a traditional,vegetarian lunch. It was served on banana leaves on copper coloured plates and utensils.The plates and vessels are not gold as some people are making them out to be.It was a very sentimental occasion for us.Please don’t try to turn this special occasion into a joke.

Amitabh added, ‘Clarifications in today’s times if not done, tend to be treated as a given fact. I would not have considered this, but I think that with the kind of facilities available in the communication medium, it is imperative that we utilise this opportunity to give perhaps a clearer picture.’
