The expectations on Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Petta’ are very high. Ending the long wait, the makers of the film have finally unveiled the trailer of the film which is now trending on the internet.

The two and half minute video gives us a glimpse at the story of the film. The trailer started with Vijay Sethupathi’s voice narrating the story. Rajinikanth is seen as a hostel warden with a difficult past. Simran looked beautiful and it seems like she is playing the role of a teacher in the movie. Trisha is also playing the female lead in the film. The trailer video also introduced the actors from the movie including Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The trailer promised that the movie is going to be an action-packed entertainer and is going to give an eye feast for the action lovers.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Sun Pictures is bankrolling this project. Anirudh Ravichander composed music for the film. The makers also unveiled announced that the movie is going to hit the screens for Sankranthi next year on 10th January 2019.

The film unit already impressed the fans and the audiences with the audio singles and a special birthday teaser that was out on 12th December. To increase the pace of the promotions, the makers have given an update about the theatrical trailer of the movie.

The much awaited theatrical trailer of this film will be unveiled on 28th December and the Tamil version alone is going to be out. The trailers for the other languages will be released later. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasi Kumar, Vijay Setupathi, Samuthrakhani, Trisha, Simran, Megha Akash, and others.

The movie is going to be dubbed into Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
