Sankranthi Box Office Result has given enough confidence for filmmakers to release two or more Telugu films on the same day.

After Nagarjuna Akkineni reserving March 25th slot for his forthcoming movie ‘Oopiri’ the release date of Nara Rohit and Nanditha starrer ‘Savithri’ has officially been confirmed by the makers as March 25th. The film is said to be a love story cum family entertainer, Nara Rohit and Nanditha impressed audience with the first look of ‘Savitri’. One can expect a new Rohit this time with a new body language.

‘Prema Ishq Kadhal’ fame Pawan Sadineni has directed this movie produced by VB Rajendra Prasad on Vision Filmmakers banner. Shooting has been wrapped up and Post-Production Work is underway.

On the other hand, ‘Oopiri’ makers are confident of the success after ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ result.

Akkineni Nagarjuna, who is declared the winner of Sankranthi race as his entertainer ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana,’ is ruling the roost at the box office, might hit screens again in summer.

Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer ‘Oopiri’ went onto the floors long time back but the project is yet to finish shooting formalities. After completing a recent schedule in Vizag, the unit is now preparing to start a fresh schedule in Hyderabad and wrap up the entire shoot by this month end.

This Vamsi Paidipally directorial was supposed to hit screens in February but PVP Cinema, the producer of the film, postponed the film to Summer as Soggade released just now.

As Pawan, Mahesh, Rajini, Allu Arjun, etc are targeting April, Oopiri might release on March 25. Official confirmation is awaited.

Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah’s upcoming film is ‘Oopiri.’ This film unit has planned to complete the shooting by the end of this year and are planning to release the film on the 5th of February.

Nagarjuna is playing a physically handicapped character in this film. Most of the film he will be seen in a wheelchair. Along with him are seen Karthi and Tamannaah. Anushka Shetty and Adavi Sesh will be seen in guest roles in this film.

Vamsi paidipally is the director for this film while Potluri Prasad is producing this film under the banner of PVP on a huge scale.

National winning Indian musician Gopi Sunder is providing music for this film. This film is an inspiration of French Hollywood film ‘The Intouchables.”

Apart from this movie Nagarjuna is also acting in another movie titled “Soggade Chinni Nayana”, which is getting ready for release in next month.
