Rana Daggubati was a successful TV presenter in Tollywood. He hosted the season one of the candid talk show No.1 Yaari which went on to bring some solid TRP numbers. During Bigg Boss season one, Rana’s show was also aired on Television and during some episodes, Rana made sure that his show got more TRP numbers than Bigg Boss. Rana proved that he has the capability of dominating Jr NTR’s show.

Now, the season 2 of the same show is going to be kick started. The second season will start from the coming Sunday. Vijay Devarakonda who attended the show with Tharun Bhascker during the first season is attending the show now for the second season with Nag Ashwin with whom he worked for Yevade Subrahmanyam and Mahanati.

The show organizers are confident of creating a big TRP record now for the second season.

Rana has been hosting a show called No 1 Yaari on Zee Telugu channel. This weekly celebrity talk show has received many applause from the TV viewers for Rana’s natural hosting. However, the only program which used to compete for this program is NTR Jr’s Bigg Boss Telugu. Bigg Boss used to be on top in the list of TRPs for Telugu channels. It used to have 16 in the first week but currently it fell to 6.8. Whereas No: Yaari maintained uniform 9 and recent episode got 10.3 and became number one show in terms of TRPs in Telugu.

Thus Rana has crossed NTR Jr in terms of TV shows as a host. Even though Bigg Boss is telecasted daily, NTR Jr will only come at weekends, so the comparison is genuine.
