Niharika Konidela is a talented actress who made her debut with the film titled as Oka Manasu. The film earned her fame and appreciation as an actress. Meanwhile, she revealed that she faced a lot of struggles in the film industry even she has a huge background. She recently opened up on the same to a media house and told some interesting facts about her life. She said that she was always excited about being in love.

“As I come from the Mega family where Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are big stars. Though people like me, they used to backstep without proposing me,” said Niharika and chose to respond to the love rumors with Naga Shaurya.

“I knew that these gossips are common in the film industry and I never really bothered about them. My family members trust me a lot and I won’t respond to them,” said Niharika.

For the first time, an actress from the powerful mega family is making her debut as a heroine in Tollywood and the hoopla surrounding is huge.

Naga Babu’s daughter Konidela Niharika’s debut film ‘Oka Manasu’ has reached the final stages of production and the makers are looking at Sree Rama Navami release. The film was earlier considered for Ugadi release but as Niharika’s uncle Pawan Kalyan is arriving with ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, they postponed.

‘Oka Manasu’ makers are now targeting Sree Rama Navami release. As the film is already coming with good hype, makers feel that there is no need of making the film a solo release. The subject is good and makers expect Niharika to get full support from the mega fans.

It has to be seen how this film fares in summer which already has heavy competition.

Niharika Konidela’s first movie titled Oka Manasu, which was launched yesterday, is directed by Rama Raju of Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu fame. Naga Shourya is the male lead opposite Niharika in this film. Producer Madhura Sridhar and news channel TV9 are jointly producing this film.

It is quite sure that Prakash Raj boarding into ‘Oka Manasu’ will be an additional asset. Till now what could be the role is Prakash Raj in this film is not yet confirmed.

The regular shooting of the movie will starts from December and it will hit the big screens in 2016.

When quizzed about his sister’s launch, ‘Kanche’ hero Varun Tej said that the decision was not taken overnight. He added that after having several rounds of discussions in the family, finally they decided to support her. Niharika Konidela is pairing up with Naga Shourya in her first movie and it will directed by Ramaraju.

‘Although, our family was initially concerned of how fans would react, now we are confident that they will welcome her’, added Varun.
