Star heroine Rakul Preet Singh is going through a lean phase over the past couple of years. She hasn’t acted in South for a year, to focus on Bollywood. But that didn’t help her career shine in the north as both of her films Aiyaary and De De Pyaar De failed to perform big at the box office.

Down the south, she came up with Dev, which released earlier this year. Starring Karthi in the lead role, this film was a colossal disaster. Now, she came up with Karthi’s elder brother Suriya’s film NGK, which released in both Tamil and Telugu, today. Rakul has put heavy expectations on it.

But, the audience was disappointed with the film and stated it as a bland fare by director Selva Raghavan. Thus, it is made sure that the film is not going to have a great run, at least in Telugu. Hence, Rakul’s hopes are shattered again and we will have to see if she gets back to form with at least Manmadhudu 2 or not.

Sai Pallavi is currently one of the leading actresses down the south. Despite lacking the so-called glamorous looks and without doing any skin show, the actress has reached heights purely based on her acting skills and gained a massive following in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam industries.

She will be soon in NGK, where she acted alongside hero Suriya. The actress is a big fan of Suriya over the past few years and it was like a dream come true for her to share screen space with him. She added that she once took 50 takes to perform well for a single shot.

On top of that, the scene was with Suriya. Even though she took so many takes, Suriya patiently did the scene and supported her to perform it well. She said that she wished to act with him once again. Directed by Selva Raghavan, NGK is slated to release on May 31st in both Tamil and Telugu.

Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda is going to start hoping to continue his success streak in 2019 and in the process, he is releasing his upcoming film, Dear Comrade on May 31st. The movie will have a simultaneous release in all the four major South Indian languages.

Many people thought Vijay has booked a safe slot as there are no other releases at that time. But surprisingly, star hero Suriya has joined the race, with his film NGK. Directed by Selva Raghavan, NGK is one of this year’s most anticipated films in the Tamil film industry.

Luckily for her, she has already signed a movie opposite Rana which will be directed by Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame. However, the film will not be rolling soon since Rana is busy wrapping up his commitments in Hindi and Malayalam. The film will begin only after Rana adjusts his dates. Although Sai Pallavi has got an author-backed role in this period romantic story set in Warangal, she will have to wait for Rana. The latest reports say the film will only hit the floors post-summer.

Her next will be ‘NGK’ with Suriya and will be sharing the screen space with Rakul Preeth too.

Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet will be seen as female leads opposite Suriya in this film. Makers have announced that they will be releasing this most awaited film for Diwali this year.

Suriya Siva Kumar is the popular hero in Telugu and Tamil languages. The actor is currently busy shooting for his new film titled NGK in the direction of Selva Raghavan.
