Several reports are coming in now that the heroine Nayanthara is turning producer. Nayanthara recently signed a new film in the direction of Vignesh Shivan, which stars Shia Karthikeyan in the lead role. And the rumors are that the heroine will be bankrolling the project for the sake of her rumored boyfriend, Vignesh Shivan. In the past, the heroine and director have teamed up for the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Nayanathara finally opened up on this issue stating that nothing like that is in store for her. She condemned all the rumors about her turning a producer.

Nayanthara expressed that her primary and current concentration is completely on acting, and she is not interested in becoming a producer. The actor who is in 30’s is very successful in South India. She is doing experimental roles in her career now.

Lady Superstar Nayanthara who is on a success track with back to back hits has recently agreed to do another film. This film is said to be heroine-centric directed by debutant Dass Ramaswamy.

2015 has been the best year in Nayan’s career. Beginning from ‘Naanbenda’ to recent super hit ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’ ever film of her became a huge hit at the Tamil box-office. With these films success, she accepted another half a dozen films that will release in 2016.

Recently she gave a green signal to Vikram’s Tamil movie and Venkatesh-Maruti Telugu film.

Her previous release ‘Maya’ which was a lady oriented film did receive commercial success in both Tamil and Telugu. With the confidence that ‘Maya’ has given she accepted another heroine-centric film that is said to be a thriller-entertainment one.

Coming to the director, Dass Ramaswamy has worked as an assistant at Tamil director Sarkunam. Dass, worked for all of Sarkunam films including Vaagi Sooda Vaa that won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil.
