Rakul Preet Singh recently came up with the film Khakee. During the promotions of the film, the actress opened up about the remunerations that the heroines get in the film industry. The actress cited an example by taking the name of Nayanathara to explain her concerns. The actress told that Nayan who is called as the lady superstar of Kollywood is getting just Rs 3 crore as a remuneration whereas the star heroes are getting money close to 15 crore rupees.

“She is the superstar of South India, and all of her films do well equal to those of commercial films. Her remuneration is still 3 crore rupees even the directors come up with scripts having her in the lead. The film industry is male dominant, and the calculations change from heroes to the heroines.” said Rakul Preet Singh.

South Indian star actress Nayanatara is creating ripples among the young generation of actresses. Her remuneration is shaking the so called star actresses of Tollywood.

Nayanatara has grown as the most sought after actress in the entire South India. She has become the first choice for the superstars and veteran heroes. She is currently working with Balayya’s 102nd flick under director K S Ravi Kumar. She has charged Rs 3 crores for this flick which is more than present Tollywood actresses. For the flick Sye Raa, she demanded Rs 6.5 crores as this flick has more working days. Producer Ram Charan has accepted her demands for the sake of the movie.

She is sharing screen space for the first time with megastar Chiranjeevi. She will be seen as a wife to Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in Sye Raa.

There are so many heroines in the film industry especially in the South where many heroines from Tollywood as well as Kollywood who take maximum remunerations. Nayanthara is the heroine who will be taking the top position on the list. She charges almost three crores as remuneration for a single film. There are rumors in the film industry that she also accepts black money. With the sudden effect of Demonetisation, Nayanathara is apparently asking the producers to convert the black money into white.

This has not gone well with some producers, and they are apparently planning to complain against her which may result in ACB officers doing raids on her properties. Nayanathara is currently busy with some interesting projects in both Telugu and Tamil. Let us see what is going to happen.
