Nandita Swetha is a popular Tamil heroine who made her Telugu debut with Nikhil’s Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. After the success of the movie, she is flooded with a lot of offers but she took her time and recently signed a film with Nithiin and the movie is titled Srinivasa Kalyanam. Satish Vegesna is the director and it also has Raashi Khanna in another female lead role.

The interesting buzz is that the actress is doing a mother’s role in another interesting movie. When she is getting female lead roles, she decided to do the role of a mother in a film titled as N for Narmadha. Geetha Rajput is the director of the movie and the film will focus on the mother and child relationship.

Taking inspiration from these, Yekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada heroine Nandita Swetha has signed a lady-oriented movie. Nandita Swetha who shined in Yekkadiki Pothava Chinnavada has signed a movie in Tamil under the direction of Geeta Rajput. This women-centric movie is to feature the life of an alone mother as per the reports. A formal pooja event was organized at Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu today. MS Bhaskar and Vijay Vasanth are to appear in pivotal roles. More details awaited.

Tollywood is a place for a lot of new talents. Now, the news is about the entry of a new heroine Nandita Swetha into the film industry. The actress is already a noted personality in Tamil film industry. She was earlier seen in “Attakathi” and “Mundasupatti”, she has made quite positive impression and is gearing up for the big debut in Telugu film industry opposite Nikhil Siddharth in his yet to be titled upcoming project being directed by VI Anand, a former associate to AR Muragadoss.

VI Anand already made a film Tiger in Telugu with Sundeep Kishan and Rahul Ravindran in the lead roles. Nikhil’s new movie has three heroines of which Avika Gor and Hebah Patel already bagged the roles. Now, the latest addition is Nandita. The film unit revealed that her character in the film will have a lot of scope for performance. Apparently it was also revealed that the actress rejected several Telugu offers in the past as she is waiting for a right script just like the current film. She is happy with the story and her role and instantly signed for the film. The film is tipped to be a love cum fantasy entertainer. This project is Produced by Venkateswara Rao. Sekhar Chandra composes the music.

Actress Nandita Swetha is on a roll with her latest few flicks all being declared hits. The list keeps growing with Attakathi, Idharkku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara and now Mundasupatti. This of course, doesn’t go unnoticed in the industry and the newcomer is getting the reputation of being.. well, lucky.

Not to take away from her talent of course, but the entire film never quite rested on her shoulders and somehow still the ones she is in keep raking in big money and some like Mundasupatti are surprise hits. So you can imagine the producers queuing up already to sign on the starlet for their projects.

And Nandita is a smart girl too and as she has realized this, she has, quite justifiably, doubled her rates! And not shockingly, the producers seem only all too willing to give in to her new demands. The stars are really shining bright for this new talent.

Though she is yet far from joining the prestigious one crore club of Kollywood, like some other female stars, one would venture to guess that if the pattern holds true, she is well on her way.

Mundasupatti is doing very well at the box office and talks are in progress for the sequel already. Director Ramkumar cast Nandita in the lead role of Kalaivaani as he wanted someone “dusky” and attractive for the character. Now that proved fateful indeed for the up and comer.

Nandita is not complacent though. Sources say that in order to completely understand the flavor of Kollywood, the actress immerses herself in Tamil movies as a fan whenever she gets the chance.
