Young director Nag Ashwin made his debut with the soulful drama Yevade Subrahmanyam. After that, he was shot to fame by the blockbuster success of his second directorial Mahanati. Ashwin was lauded for the handling of the biopic in an emotional way and making it a memorable picture for the audiences of Telugu cinema.

Everyone wondered what will be Ashwin’s next project after Mahanati. But the director hasn’t finalized it, even after a year of Mahanati’s release. It was reported that he will be doing a movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi but currently, Chiru is busy prepping up for Koratala project.

Thus, there might not be a chance of him acting in Ashwin’s direction as of now. Some of the sources claim that Ashwin is planning to direct a web series which will go on floors soon. Anyways, these are mere speculations and nothing will be confirmed until we get an official announcement.

Director Nag Ashwin who recently scored a tremendous hit with the biopic of legendary actress Savitri ‘Mahanati’ is fuming on government hospitals through social media. In his Twitter post, he stated that his friend died because of the negligence of government hospitals and got the issue under the notice of Telangana IT Minister KTR.

“My friend died in gandhi hospital on sunday. he was alive for 3 hours after they brought him from the accident. as it was sunday there was no proper care, the parents had to push the stretcher around themselves. at any other hospital 3 hours would have saved him. my sister worked at gandhi and she says she can imagine.. on a sunday night…why didn’t they shift him somewhere else…i don’t know…they were in panic..but really..in the capital of a state, why can’t we count on a government hospital to rush to save a life. sunday or any daywhat can we do @KTRTRS sir to make sure that the word ‘government hospital’ need not be synonymous with carelessness and death. my friend was easily one of the best cameramen we have in the state. i don’t know whom else to ask sir. nobody should die needlessly” tweeted Nag Ashwin.

KTR is yet to respond to this issue. We have to see if KTR reacts on it and do something or not.

Director Vikram Kumar who came into the limelight with the movies Ishq, 24, Manam and Hello is very impressed with the latest biopic Mahanati. Directed by Nag Aswin, Mahanti has been receiving praises ever since it hit the theaters.

Being it the adaptation of the legendary actress Savitri’s life story, Mahanati stars Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salman as the main leads. Vikram Kumar the director seems to be very impressed after watching this epic biopic. Vikram took his Twitter to express his views on Mahanati.

Mahanati is the title of the latest film that is based on the life of legendary actress Savitri. The movie released in the last week and has become the sensational hit everywhere. Along with the common audiences, the celebrities in the film industry are also showing interest to watch the movie. Meanwhile, Rajamouli, the star director of the film industry has joined the list of people who have praised the movie. He recently appreciated the film unit and has participated in the dinner program that was hosted by Allu Arvind for the film unit of Mahanati.

Rajamouli has made some interesting comments about Nag Ashwin and told that he is jealous of the young director.

“The way Nag Ashwin made the film clearly proves that he is a great director. He has portrayed particular emotional scenes in a very impressive manner and he has done that with a lot of ease. For that reason, I am very jealous of Nag Ashwin.” Said Rajamouli.

Nag Ashwin is the young filmmaker who made his directional debut with the film Yevade Subrahmanyam. Soon after that, he now gave a classic in the form of Mahanati. Meanwhile, the interesting buzz is that he earlier worked with Sekhar Kammula.

Sekhar Kammula is a proud director now as his assistant delivered a project that is a gutsy one. The sensible director said that Nag Ashwin told the story of a great actress in a brilliant manner.
