The Movie Artists Association is facing a lot of unnecessary rumors in the recent times. The association is facing allegations regarding the funds utilized for organizing the events in the USA. The last time that MAA has hit to a controversy is when there was an election between Rajendra Prasad and Jaya Sudha for President post. Now, Sivaji Raja is the president of the association and there were allegations about the distribution of the funds.

Sr Naresh is also a part of the association who is the Secretary of the association has reportedly verified the records and locked the office. He called for an emergency meeting to discuss the same. Heated arguments took place between Rajendra Prasad and Sr Naresh but finally, after 4 hours of meeting, Sr Naresh addressed the media and condemned all the rumors.

After Sri Reddy took to the streets for her bold protest against the casting couch in Tollywood, there have been some ugly revelations coming out. She named a lot of big wigs from the TFI and recently she targeted Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

Lakshmi Manchu, who is also the vice-president of Movie Artistes’ Association, has maintained silence on Sri Reddy’s issue. While she did condemn Asifa rape case on social media but she hasn’t spoken about the casting couch.

However, her brother Manchu Vishnu has been closely following the recent happenings in Telugu Film Industry. And Vishnu called it a huge embarrassment. Shattered with the acts of MAA and the consequences, Vishnu penned an open letter to MAA addressing its President Sivaji Raja. Here is the letter:

After Sri Reddy protest nudely in front of film chamber, today MAA Association held press meet. In lieu of that, actress Hema said that, “if any woman faces problems, she will be in the forefront to solve the issue. But Sri Reddy didn’t approach anybody and she protested nudely. It’s not the right thing.”

Hema said that Sri Reddy application’s MAA membership was not completed. She has not filled the form completely and Sri Reddy is asking for membership.

However, MAA Association declared that they are not going to give membership card and even stated that any actor from MAA are not going to act with her.
