Mehbooba is the latest film that is currently in the theatres. The film marks the debut of Akash Jagannadh in the lead role. Puri Jagannath is the director of the movie and the makers have met the press yesterday in the special thank you meet. Puri Jagannath has thanked the audiences for making the film a big hit.

In the reality, the film is not doing well in the theatres. There is a lot of negative buzz on the movie. Even the film opened poorly in the USA where the film unit has been to promote the movie.

“We have watched the premiere of the movie with a lot of Telugu audiences in the USA. Everyone liked the movie and the response is very much satisfying. Everyone is appreciating Akash. This film is different from my previous movies. The movie can be watched by entire family and it has got a good love story. This film is very close to my heart.” Said Puri Jagannath.

Though the film has become a flop, the makers are trying to grab the attention by visiting the theatres and carrying out the post-release promotions.

Mehbooba is one film that Akash Jagannath is very much eager. This is the first proper debut for Akash Jagannath in Telugu film industry after Andhra Pori. Puri Jagannath is the director of the film and the makers have successfully completed the censor formalities.

The censor board has awarded U/A certificate for the film and the same has been confirmed by Charmi on the social media. She has posted a picture of Puri Jagannath holding the censor certificate copy.

The film is said to be a pure love story which has good songs. The promotions are currently at a brisk pace. Neha Shetty is also making her debut as a heroine in the project. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor of the movie. Charmi Kaur has taken care of the production activities. The film is scheduled for a grand release on 11th of this month.

Puri Jagannadh is introducing his son Puri Akash as a lead actor with Mehbooba. The director, who, with his films, has created ample mass appeal for the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Ravi Teja in the past, is now working hard for his son, Akash’s debut as well.

As per the latest reports, the shooting of Mehbooba is being happening in Vellore. The pics of Mehaboba team in Vellore going viral on social media. Akash, before his debut film, worked as an assistant director on few of his father’s films and also acted in the film Andhra Pori as a teen actor.

Interestingly, Charmme Kaur is taking care of the entire production work for this film.

Charmi Kaur is a star actress in the film industry who has teamed up with many heroes in the past. She is now into production and has been associating with Puri Jagannath in making new movies. Right now, she is working on the project called Mehbooba that introduces Puri Jagannath’s son Akash as a hero.

The actress always wanted to roam in the streets of Hyderabad during the night time on a bike, but due to her popularity she could not be able to do that. But finally, she has made up her mind and roamed on the streets of Hyderabad. She has covered her face with a scarf and roamed on the bike with the help of Mehbooba film’s coordinator Sridhar.

The shooting of Mehbooba is happening right now in Hyderabad.

Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh’s new movie with his son Akash Puri has been titled as “MEHBOOBA”. Puri also released the first look poster of the film today on the occasion of his birthday. Akash Puri is going to romance with Neha Shetty in this Indo-Pak war backdrop movie.

This Puri Jagannadh’s 33rd film and it will be an intense love story, and the backdrop is that of Indo-Pak war in the year 1971. Sandeep Chowta is scoring the music for this flick.

The regular shooting of Mehbooba will starts from October end this year.The shooting part will take place in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
