These days, Megastar Chiranjeevi is promoting relatively small films, which is a very good gesture. He promoted R. Narayana Murthy’s upcoming film, Market Lo Prajaswamyam. Later, he launched the first look of Sudeep’s dubbed flick, Pailwaan. Now, he launched the teaser of Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh’s film, Kausalya Krishnamurthy.

Chiru launched the teaser of this film yesterday and it opened to a positive response. Kausalya Krishnamurthy is an official remake of recent Tamil flick, Kanaa which also had Aishwarya as the lead. This is her maiden venture in Telugu. Directed by Bheemineni Sreenivasa Rao, this film features Rajendra Prasad in a key role. Tamil hero Shiva Karthikeyan will be seen in a cameo.

KA Vallabha has produced the movie under his banner Creative Commercials. Dhibu Ninan Thomas has composed the music for it. Touted to be the story of an aspiring woman cricketer, this film is slated to release in July.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently busy working on an exciting project titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanathara, Brahmaji, Amitabh, Vijay Setupathi, Sudeep, Tamannah and NIharika Konidela, the film is directed by Surender Reddy. Ram Charan Konidela is bankrolling the project under Konidela Productions Company on a big scale with a massive budget. The makers are planning to release the film for Dusshera.

Meanwhile, the latest update from the movie unit is that the makers kick-started the dubbing activities and Chiranjeevi has started the same in Hyderabad today. The shoot has been wrapped up and with this dubbing, Chiranjeevi will free himself from the shoot.

The film is based on the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s life. The complete details about the film’s release will be out soon.

The buzz is that the movie is going to have a grand release for Ugadi next year. The film unit is keen on having the release for the festival but it might be too early to discuss on the same.

Megastar Chiranjeevi who shares an amazing bonding with the late Dasari has missed the final riots of Narayana Rao as he got his own reasons.

One might wonder what were the reasons for Chiru who is said to a close person to Dasari and also a long relative as well. As we know Chiru has expressed his deep condolences via his son Ram Charan’s Twitter from China. Confirming the same, Naga Babu has said that Chiru was jammed in China transit. The actual reason is Chiru has attended the annual celebrations of 80’s actors get together. The stars of the eighties like Rajini Kanth, Chiru, Naresh, Suman, Prabhu etc along with actresses such as Radhika, Sumalatha, Suhasini etc spend together for a couple of days every year in Summer. This year, they all got jammed in this get together in China and failed to see Dasari for one last time.

As per the buzz in film circles, choreographer cum actor-director Prabhu Deva has offened megastar Chiranjeevi.

We have already reported that Lawrence is currently choreographing an item song featuring Chiranjeevi and Raai Laxmi for ‘Khaidi No.150’. As Lawrence is currently busy with acting assignments, he has not been choreographing songs for others but he is heard to have agreed to choreograph this one song as he feels owed to Chiranjeevi for giving him break when he was struggling in the early stage of his career.

However, it is heard that Lawrence was not the first choice for this assignment but Prabhudeva was. It is heard he demanded Rs 1 crore when he was approached for this song so Chiranjeevi called Lawrence to take up the job. After Lawrence was roped in, Prabhudeva is heard to have called megastar and expressed his desire to choreograph another song and we need to see if Chiru responds positively or not.

After tasting a huge setback in politics, Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up to make his comeback to silver screen as well as make his debut on small screen.

Film Nagar is abuzz that Chiru has been promised to be paid a whopping Rs 10 lakhs for each episode of MEK 4. No Telugu actor has so far pocketed this kind of remuneration for a TV stint. Since it is Chiru’s first stint on TV, show organizers are confident that audiences will be glued to TVs to watch him in action.

Megastar Chiranjeevi himself has recently revealed in a fan meet that ‘Kathilantodu’ title is being considered for his 150th. Chiru wanted to know the response and the feedback is something Megastar hasn’t expected.

Much to his shock, Mega Fans weren’t happy with the title. Many opine that such titles suit to younger generation heroes but not to Chiru, who commands larger than life stature. Others felt even ‘Kathi’ is better than ‘Kathilantodu’.

The title of this landmark flick must connect to fans to send a positive hoopla over the film.Megastar has already asked his coterie to search foran alternative title. Small time filmmaker Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana has surprised everyone by writing an open letter to mega star Chiranjeevi requesting him to postpone the release date of “Bruce Lee”. So that epic historic film ‘Rudramadevi’ gets time to recover the mammoth budget.

“Chiranjeevi garu, “Bruce Lee” became a big film due to your cameo and could be released at any time. Whenever the mega film comes that, itself is a festival. But same is not the case with Rudhramadevi which bore many labor pains for releasing. If you could postpone Bruce Lee release, then Rudhramadevi could make enough money to recover,” said the excerpts from his letter.

Released yesterday, ‘Rudramadevi’ has received mixed reports and it is heard that it might be difficult for the film to recover the budget.
