Chiru’s Cult Film Completes 4 Decades

Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s ‘Punadhirallu’ is undoubtedly a special film for Chiru and all the mega fans as the film marked the debut of Chiranjeevi as an actor. Now, the fans are nostalgic to share that it has been 40 years since the release of that cult movie.

Though ‘Punaadirallu’ release got postponed and ‘Pranam Khareedu’ movie introduced Chiru, ‘Punadhirallu’ is technically Megastar’s first film. ‘Punadhirallu’ won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film. Bankrolled by S Abdul Khader, Gudapati Rajkumar helmed the project. The fans still remember the film. After his debut, Chiru never had to look back and did 149 films. But after taking a long gap of 9 years, Megastar marked his comeback again with ‘Khaidi Number 150’ which became a massive blockbuster. In his long career, Chiru worked in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages also.  Today, on the occasion of ‘Punadirallu’ completing 4 decades, the fans are celebrating happily by sharing the same on social media. 
 
Currently, Chiru is busy shooting for his upcoming high budget period film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ which also features star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sudeep. Ram Charan under Konidela Productions is bankrolling this project.
