Tollywood young sensation Vijay Devarakonda rejects Mani Ratnam’s offer?

Mani Ratnam is undoubtedly a master craftsman and a fine storyteller. To be a part of his films is an honor for actors and film technicians alike. Right from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhavan to Arvind Swami and Gautham Karthik, Mani offered a launch pad to all these popular stars, and many more.

However, as per latest reports, Tollywood’s latest sensation, Vijay Devarakonda, has apparently refused a Mani Ratnam project. According to the source, Vijay was offered a prominent role in a multi-starrer along with Vijay Sethupathi, STR, Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swami and Jyothika. After watching Vijay’s stellar performance in Arjun Reddy, Mani felt that he could portray the character Mani had in mind.

But the Pelli Choopulu star has allegedly refused to be a part of the project, stating that he wasn’t convinced about either the role or the remuneration. He felt that wouldn’t get enough screen time in Mani’s movie.

It’s confirmed!! Ash, Mahesh and Nag in Mani Ratnam’s next

The speculations can end now; the much planned project in talks with Mani Ratnam directing Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu together seems to have been confirmed by Suhasini Maniratnam; and none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be making a grand come back after her sabbatical.

Suhasini confirmed in a recent interview with a regional channel in Tamil that the project bringing the super trio is very much in action, and that the shooting for this project will commence from June this year.

The surprise factor added to this project is actress Shruti Haasan, who will be cast as a second female lead opposite Mahesh.

The lady Maniratnam further confirmed that the film will be an action thriller adventure made in the lines of Hollywood’s Bourne series and Mission Impossible. Planned to be made as a Telugu Tamil bilingual, the film is a super delight for the fans.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shares a long standing work relationship with Mani Ratnam; she was often his favourite leading lady who played some great roles in movies like Guru, Iruvar and Raavan.

This will also mark a great return for the gorgeous diva who was off the acting grid, blissful in her maternity sabbatical with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
