Well, as they say, ‘Desperate times call for desperate measures’.

That certainly seems to be the case with the makers of ‘Manam’.

Nagarjuna, who plays one of the leads in the movie alongside other two generations of his family in ‘Manam’, is leaving no stone unturned to create buzz around the release of this film.

Nagarjuna has now pulled a ‘pigeon out of the hat’!

He has decided to hold a special screening for 700 senior citizens from the city for free of cost.

‘Manam’ touted as Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR)’s last work will be screened for ANR fans. The makers too are excited for this screening.

Watch Manam for free campaign was launched on a popular social networking site.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna has also arranged a grand premiere of his film in Prasad’s Imax on the 22nd of May, a day before the worldwide release of the film.

Set in the period of 1920-2013, ‘Manam’ is a period drama cum Love story which justifies the presence of the three generations of Akkineni family in the film.

‘Manam’ stars the three generations of the Akkineni family- Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in larger-than life roles.

Samantha and Shriya Saran are playing the female leads in the film.

Directed by Vikram Kumar (of ‘Ishq’ fame), ‘Manam’ has music composed by Anoop Rubens.

Well, only time will tell if this gesture of Nagarjuna is able to pull the audiences to the theatres!

Comedy King Allari Naresh’s Jump Jilani is getting ready for a release next month.

Sources say that this is Allari Naresh’s funniest work till date.

A source on the sets of the movie, says, ” This film is sure to leave the audiences in splits. Also, it will be Allari Naresh’s biggest hit.”

“The way you liked Brahmanandam as ‘Kill Bill Pandey’, you’ll love Allari Naresh’s character as well.”, adds the source.

Meanwhile, the theatrical trailer of this film will be launched with the Akkineni starrer ‘Manam’ on May 23.

Going by the views of the sources on the sets of the movie, ‘Jump Jilani’ is expected to be a hilarious comedy entertainer.

The music album of the movie will be out this month.

Jump Jilani features Allari Naresh in a double role. Isha Chawla is the female lead in the movie. The movie is directed by E. Satti Babu and is a remake of the Tamil film, ‘Kalakalappu’.

Akkinenis Manam Movie has completed its censor formalities and have a look at complete details about Manam Movie Censor Report.

The much-awaited film, ‘Manam’, which brings the three generations of Akkineni family together on screen for the first time, has crossed one final hurdle and is all set to release on the 23rd of May.

The makers of the movie took the first copy for the censor screening. After watching the film carefully, the Censor Board issued a U/A certificate to the film.

The movie has been in the news for quite some time now. Akiineni Nagarjuna holds this place close to his heart as it is his father’s last work on screen.

The music of the film was released recently on Youtube by Aditya Music and has received a thumbs-up from the audience

Moreover, the on-screen camaraderie of Nagarjuna-Chaitanya has garnered a lot of hype, increasing the excitement of the film’s release in the audiences.

The much required ‘Oomph factor’ in the movie is provided by Tollywood’s sexy sirens – Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shriya Saran.

The film’s cinematography which captures the locales wonderfully, as evident from the trailer, is been widely appreciated as well.

The film also stars Bollywood’s Super star Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role.

The satellite rights of the film have been sold for a whopping 8 crores!

Three generations of the Akkineni family will be seen together – Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. Shriya Saran and Samantha play the female leads in the film.

Neetu Chandra and Raashi Khanna will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie.

‘Manam’ is directed by Vikram K Kumar. Music maestro Anoop Rubens has composed the music for the film.

Also, it has all three of us playing characters which the audience can connect with, easily. That makes it all the more exciting. Confirmations have arrived! There were a lot of rumours earlier stating that Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a pivotal role in Akkineni-family’s much-awaited flick,’Manam’.

And now,sources have confirmed that the star of the millennium,Amitabh Bachchan,will be seen doing a small cameo in the movie. Yes,it’s just going to be a cameo but its going to be a very important role.

Sources say,his appearance will be a power-packed one which will bring the legends- Nagarjuna and Amitabh together on screen.

Some of the scenes involving Amitabh were apparently shot in Hyderabad. The scenes and this piece of news has been guarded ever since there were rumours of Amitabh doing this cameo.

The film stars the Akkineni family- Late ANR,Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Shriya Saran and Samantha are the leading ladies in this one.

The film will be hitting the screens on the 23rd of May.

The trailer of the much-awaited historical flick of Akkineni family, ‘Manam‘ has been released amidst much fanfare.

The highlight of the Manam Trailer seems to be the phrase, ‘ANR Lives ON’, which can be seen all throughout the trailer.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, Manam looks to churn the best of human emotions. And with a starcast comprising of the stalwarts of Akkineni family and Samantha & Shriya Saran who’d be upping the glamour quotient of the film, the film looks to be quite an entertainer and may just turn out to be the next big money spinner at the box office!

The story revolves around three characters enacted by ANR, Nagarjuna and Chaitanya. While Chaitanya falls for Samantha and approaches her dad to marry his daughter, Nagarjuna is a bachelor who doesn’t believe in love, but finally falls for Shriya. ANR is their mentor cum advisor who not only advises but shares hand in all the cute little stuff. As seen in the trailer, the story happens to travel between generations.
