Telugu movie fans can expect a further clash between heroes from the various families, who are set for a box office battle, dishing out action, romance and family sagas for their audiences
It all started with the release of Balakrishna’s ‘Legend’. The film went on to break records at the box office. Within no time, the film entered the coveted ’50 Crore Club’ and leased a new life into the otherwise ‘dry’ Box-office.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Race Gurram’ proved to be another blockbuster and is breaking all the industry records in its way to the No. 1 position of Tollywood’s highest grossers of all-time. His costumes and massy appeal ensured that the film was a huge success internationally as well. Shruti Hassan’s ‘Oomph Factor’ drew more audiences to the theaters!
Further, joining the list of heroes trying to make us sweat outside the ticket counters this summer, is actor Mahesh Babu.
After uttering dialogues in Uttarandhra, Telangana and Godavari slang for movies like ‘Khaleja’, ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, Mahesh Babu will spice this summer up with his Rayalaseema accent in the forthcoming ‘Aagudu’. The superstar will be playing a cop in the action entertainer, directed by Sreenu Vaitla. But wait, with Tamannaah as the leading lady, the hotness quotient of this film just hit the roof!
In between all the adrenaline- pumping action, audiences will have to take time out to let their hair down, move that frown off their faces, roll up their sleeves and celebrate love.
One of the most awaited films of the year, Manam, which stars the three generations of the Akkineni clan — the late ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya — is set to hit screens. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the family drama will draw in the audiences who will want to catch the last film of the late ANR. And with Samantha and Shriya Saran in the fray be prepared to appreciate the gorgeous beauties on-screen!
The makers are hoping that the cool entertainer will beat the summer heat and emerge winner.
