Rajinikanth Fights out in Malaysian streets

Super Star Rajinikanth, who didn’t see much success post 2010 Sci-fi blockbuster ‘Robo,’ is on a mission to get back on the hit track with mafia genre ‘Kabali.’

His last two releases Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa, which were expected to do big at the box-office, couldn’t manage to do so. In fact, these films left Rajinikanth in few criminal cases reported by distributors who alleged that ‘bought these films just because of Rajinikanth. Since the film’s turning out to be flops, Rajni shall pay back our amount.’

After all settlements, Rajini started ‘Kabali’ in which he will play the title role that is inspired by a real-life mafia don who prevailed in Chennai. Pa Ranjith is the director for this action thriller.

As per the recent developments, we got to know that Rajini might play a dual role in this film, one an underworld mafia don and another of a Malaysian undercover cop. Radhika Apte is the heroine. It’s been quite a while since the team shooting in Malaysia. Since major action scenes in the film will be seen in Malaysia, extensive shooting is under progress in Malaysia.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who paired Rajnikanth in ‘Robo, ’ will play a cameo in this film.

This film is set to rule the theatres from Summer 2016.

Ajith meets fans in Malaysia video!

The shooting of Thala 55 in Malaysia has wrapped , and the next schedule of filming is soon to begin here in India.

Ajith-Meets-Fans-in-Malaysia

Thala of course has fans everywhere, and it is no surprise that even while leaving the hotel, he is surrounded by cheering crowds who want to catch a glimpse of the superstar and maybe even get his autograph.

Ajith, being the gentleman he is known to be, put on no airs as he signed a few notes and then left the fans happy and content. Despite his busy schedule, he always finds time for the people who love him as is evidenced by the free homes he built for his long time staff recently.

If the police escort behind his vehicle is any sign, Ajith’s fandom in Malaysia is one to be reckoned with!

The filming of the yet untitled but hugely hyped Gautham Menon – Ajith movie in Malaysia included certain romantic scenes between Ajith and the leading lady Anushka Shetty. The crew shot mostly inside the Malaysian International Airport Terminal and even completed a song sequence there.

The interesting thing about this song is that it was actually shot inside a jet airliner!

Trisha plays the other female lead in the movie though she is yet to join the shoot. Reports indicate she will be a part of the second schedule to be shot in India.
