The much-awaited sequel of ‘Maari’ titled as ‘Maari 2’ featuring Dhanush in the lead role is increasing the expectations every day. Balaji Mohan whelmed this project. The posters of the film have already created a positive buzz.

The video song of Rowdy Baby turned out to be a big hit among the audience. Now, the makers have finally unveiled the trailer of the movie. The 2 minutes 17 seconds video has hinted that the movie is going to be a perfect mass masala entertainer. Dhanush as the naughtiest don is back into the form. He is going to give his fans a visual feast with the action sequences. The trailer also has some of the entertaining punch lines. The one where Dhanush says “If you are bad, I am your dad’ is going viral. The chemistry of Sai Pallavi with Dhanush worked out really well. She played the role of a female auto driver, Anandhi and calls Dhanush as ‘Rowdy Baby’. Tovino Thomas played the role of the antagonist in the movie.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kreshna etc also played vital roles in the film. Wunderbar Films banner bankrolled this project. The movie is slated for a release on December 21, 2018.
