It is already known that RGV is making a counter biopic on NTR and titled it as Lakshmi’s NTR. He said that the movie will be shot from the perspective of Lakshmi Parvathy, wife of NTR. The movie was launched in a grand way a couple of months back in Tirupati where Laksmi Parvathy attended as the chief guest.

The movie is currently being shot and the director came up with a new update about it. He tweeted that the first look of the song Vennu potu will be unveiled on the 21st of this month at 5 pm. This move by the director is being termed by many as the counter-attack for Balakrishna’s NTR whose audio is being launched on the same day.

SR NTR Biopic by Balakrishna:
Legendary actor turned filmmaker NTR son himself announced recently that he will be doing a biopic on his father’s cinematic and political legacy. The film will be directed by Teja and the shooting will commence soon. As of now, pre-production works are progressing at a jet speed.
Lakshmi’s NTR:
This is also a biopic on legendary actor NTR and it will be directed by RGV. The cast and crew of the film is yet to be finalized. The shooting will progress soon.
Lakshmi’s Veera Grandham:
Another Producer cum director Kethireddy Jagadeeswara Reddy also making a biopic on NTR and that movie titled as “Lakshmi’s Veera Grandham”.
Mahanati Savitri:
Talented actress Savitri fondly known as Mahanati’s biopic shooting is progressing at a jet speed. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Savitri. Several famous actors will be seen in this film and it is set for April release in 2018. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin.
Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy biopic as Syee Raa:
After making a comeback into Tollywood after a decade, Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to do a biopic on Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy under Surendar Reddy’s direction. The film has been titled as Syee Raa, the shooting will commence soon and is set to hit theaters in 2018.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao biopic:
Director Madhu Sreedhar Reddy had announced that he would be making a biopic on Telangana CM to showcase his struggle for carving the separate state of Telangana from erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. The film is expected to hit the screens in 2018.
Pullela Gopichand biopic:
Pullela Gopichand was an ace Badminton player and winner of the All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001. He presently serves as the National Coach of the Indian Badminton Team.
Sudheer Babu is looking forward to star in Indian Badminton maestro Pullela Gopichand biopic. National Award-winning director Praveen Sattaru’s film on the former Indian badminton champion Pullela Gopichand will be made in Telugu, Hindi and English.
Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma is gearing up for his new film titled as Lakshmi’s NTR. On the other side, filmmaker Kethi Reddy Jagadeesh Reddy is coming up with an interesting film titled Lakshmi’s Veera Grantham. Vani Viswanath, the senior actress is going to play the title role in the film and the makers are yet to approach her. They are also considering Lakshmi Raai and Sunny Leone for this role. The film is produced by G Vijay Kumar Goud and they planned to release the movie in January next year.

The first look poster of the film was released yesterday, and the makers said that already two films are being made on the life of SR NTR and this film is going to touch something that both the films are not discussing.
