Just a single decision of Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal has changed the impression on him and brought negativity about him. So many Malayalam artists have already made hate comments on Mohan Lal for re-instating an actor who harassed an actress and even served some time in jail. Now, some are trying to stop him from attending the award function organised by the state government. On this note, Director DR Biju responded on Facebook.

He claimed that Mohanlal should not have given respect to that actor who sexually harassed an actress. He posted that the award function in which the government present awards to the actors should have a pleasant ambiance. No one can accept a person who is against the will of all the other artists as a chief guest and they don’t like to receive awards in front of that person. The post is now going viral on social media. He added that artists such as Prakash Raj, NS Madhavan, Sachidanandan, Rajeev Ravi, Bina Paul, Rima Kallingal, Sruthi Hariharan etc are against inviting Mohan Lal as the chief guest.

The Kerala State Film Awards have just been announced and the results are surprising! Fahad Fazil has won the Best Actor award for his performance in North 24 Kaatham! Many had assumed Suraj might be a strong contender even though his name was nominated for the State Awards just after he won the National Award. Jayaram still remains the unlucky one, as he made it to both the national and state shortlists but didn’t win either. Better luck next time sir.

Ann Augustine has been declared the Best Actress for her role in Shyamaprasad’s Artist and the director too has won the Best Director for the same. Shobhana was a close contender in the Best Actress category but alas..

The Best Film is C R No 889, and Suraj fans are not completely disappointed as the actor did manage to grab the Best Comedian award for some of his other work last year. It seems things just keep falling the right place for Suraj, who has been honoured twice this year now.
