Super Star Rajinikanth enjoys a worldwide craze. The actor is always first in creating a buzz for his movies at the box office. Every film of his does great at the box office and the pre-release biz just set new records. The latest movie Kaala also created a new record even before the release now.

The inside buzz is that the pre-release business of the film is Rs 230 crore rupees. The makers sold the film for 70 crores in Tamil, 33 crore rupees in both the Telugu states. The film is sold for ten crores in Kerala and 7 crores in the rest of India. The overseas rights of the movie were sold for 45 crores and the whole theatrical rights came around 155crores. The broadcasting rights were sold at 70 crores and the music rights were sold at 5 crores. If the film does well in Karnataka, the film will bring in 20 crore rupees.

The movie is releasing tomorrow.

Finally, it is going to be a big relief for the producers of Kaala as the Karnataka High Court gave the verdict in favor of the producers regarding the release of the film. The high court ordered the government to provide the protection to the theatres where the movie is releasing. The court on Tuesday has given the order that the state government has to provide adequate police protection to theatres for the smooth screening of the film across the state.

The court asked the producers to furnish details of exhibitors and instructed the state government to ensure no inconvenience is caused during the release of the movie. The court said that the exhibitors cannot be forced to screen the film but if they are willing to screen the film, the government will provide the security.

After multiple postponements, Rajnikanth’s Kaala has finally locked the release date as June 7th. The makers are very much happy that the film has got the release date and hence they also started promoting the film in an aggressive manner. The latest interesting buzz is that the film is going to release along with another biggie Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. Steven Spielberg’s fifth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise is Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on June 7th.

The trade is very much excited to see this unique battle that is happening between two big projects at the box office. Though the regional market might not be affected, the release of Jurassic Park will surely have some effect on Kaala’s release.

After the successful reunion of their movie Kabali, the combination is back again with yet another mass entertainer which is set on the backdrop of Dharavi in Mumbai.
