Badminton star Jwala Gutta took a dig at Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and his upcoming film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Recently, the trailer of the film stirred up a controversy.

The film is about the life history of Manmohan Singh. Congress party leaders complained that the makers showed Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in bad light. They demanded that the makers should show the film to them before releasing it. However, the movie unit claimed that they will show the film only to Manmohan Singh which irked the Congress leaders even more. On this note, the movie unit is requesting protection. It is known that the threaten calls and messages were poured on Deepika and Sanjay Leela Bhansali during ‘Padmavat’. Comparing these two, “Ok…so when #DeepikaPadukone was being threatened by then ministers for her role in PADMAVATI…I just want to know if #Anupamkher condemned it!! I tried looking for it..couldn’t find anything…pls help me know this fact!!” Tweeted Jwala Gutta.

One of the top badminton stars of India Gutta Jwala has revealed many interesting things in her recent interview.

She said that she has lost many chances due to the politics in sports. Known for her dressing style and fashion, she said that she was not interested in acting and modeling. When enquired about the item song in Nithin movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, she corrected the interviewer that she acted in a special song but not an item song. Jwala claimed that Nithin nearly pleaded her like anything for that song to use her glamor for his movie. However, she refuted the rumors that Nithin begged her feet for the song. She said Nithin is his good friend and she only thought that song was weird.

Interesting thing is that she hated that song and even asked Nithin to remove that song. But Nithin continued screening that song in the movie.

Hyderabadi Badminton star Gutta Jwala is in the headlines now. She has recently given an interview to a leading TV news channel and opened up on several issues. Talking about politics, she hinted that she would be joining Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party. Gutta Jwala said that she had a great admiration for Pawan Kalyan and added that she likes his speeches.

“Pawan speaks about the problems of people, agriculture, education system and other usual issues. He has a great vision. In the coming 2019 elections, I would not see myself as a campaigner but would like to do something else.” she said. Gutta Jwala did not confirm that she would join Janasena but hinted that she might join the party and added that she would love to join a party which does not change her as a person.
