A few days back, it is reported that star producers Allu Aravind and DIl Raju will be producing the Hindi remake of Jersey. Original version’s director Gautham Tinnanuri will also helm this project and original version’s producers Sithara Entertainments will co-produce it.

Initially, it was reported that Karan wanted to buy the remake rights but he backed off when Sithara Entertainments stated that they wanted to co-produce it. Anyways, we hear that Allu Aravind’s eldest son Allu Bobby will be handling the production matters of this film.

Apparently, Bobby has also set up an office in Bombay and will soon start working there. This marks the comeback of Geetha Arts in Hindi after a decade. The last Hindi film they produced was Ghajini. It is also being heard that Bobby will plan to produce more projects in Bollywood to expand their company in Mumbai as well.

Top producer Dil Raju is currently very much busy working on an exciting project titled as Sarileru Nekevaru. Superstar Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles in the movie. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi.

There are reports that Dil Raju is going to venture into Bollywood with a couple of interesting projects. The producer officially announced his collaboration with Boney Kapoor for the remake of F2 but we came to know that Dil Raju is also planning to produce two other movies.

One of them is the remake of Jersey starring Nani. Karan Johar might collaborate with Dil Raju for this project. At the same time, Dil Raju also has plans to take Ram Charan’s Yevadu to Bollywood. The discussions are going on and the official confirmation will be out, once the project gets confirmed.

Young actor Raj Tarun has been going through a rough phase in his career, form a last couple of years. None of his films is clicking at the box office and he just got stuck in a series of flops. In this rough time, he was offered to play a cameo in Nani’s Jersey but apparently, he denied to do it.

Eventually, it went to Tamil actor Harish Kalyan. The character is of an older version of the hero’s son. Though there will be only a couple of scenes for that role, it makes an impact on the audience. Harish did complete justice to that cameo and he is now getting lauded for it.

It seems that Raj Tarun turned down the offer as he felt that doing that role might end up giving him only supporting characters. We don’t know whether he took the right decision or not but many folks in the industry are thinking that he lost an opportunity to act in such a fine film.

Director Gowtam Tinnanuri made his directorial debut with the film Malli Rava. The director is now coming up with another exciting project titled as Jersey.
