Tollywood actress Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie Maharshi and recently the filmmakers also released the teaser and first look poster. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead role. Now the latest buzz is that veteran actress Jayaprada will be seen as a mother for Mahesh Babu in this flick. This is Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie.

She is all set to mark her TV debut with an upcoming Hindi TV show, Perfect Pathi. Jaya Prada is playing the role of Pramila Rathod, mother of the lead actor. Veteran actress and Ex-MP Jayaprada stunned everyone by meeting AP Chief Minister Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. It is over a decade since Jayaprada left TDP. After quitting TDP, for the first time, Jayaprada met Naidu now.
As per reports, Jayaprada met Naidu to invite him to her son Siddhartha’s marriage. Siddharth was Jayaprada’s adopted son and recently he was engaged to Pravallika Reddy from Hyderabad.
NTR initiated Jayaprada into politics in 1994. She was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by him. She was later made the Telugu Mahila President of TDP. Later, under the Chandrababu leadership, Jaya Prada had few differences with senior leaders and quit TDP to join Samajwadi Party.
After the meeting with Babu, Jayaprada clarified that no politics was discussed in her meeting , but now the buzz is that she may come back to TDP fold very soon
Yester year actor Jayaprada yesterday has lost her cool and shown her intolerance over the media and traffic police here in Hyderabad in a Drunk and Drive test.

In Detail: as a part of drunk and drive test conducted by Hyderabad police in Jubilee Hills Rd no 45, many vehicles were ceased, and drivers were detained who were caught positive in the test. Meanwhile, Jayaprada’s silver Audi went through the checking process. The driver though declared that he wasn’t drunk, police asked to co-operate and finish the test.
Spotting Jayaprada in the car, the media persons shown their interest and started clicking photos.
Irritated by this behavior, Jayaprada got down the car and argued with the traffic police for their over action. She said that ‘What will you get by doing so? It’s an unnecessary waste of time and common public fall in trouble.”
Later she was cooled down by the traffic police and was sent away.
The Traffic Police spoke with the media and said that “Jayaprada’s driver wasn’t drunk, so we sent him off. She is a celebrity so got angered over us, but left away as soon as the drive was finished.”
Hero Aryan Rajesh, who was travelling in a red Range Rover, was also stopped and checked. He too hide his face after watching the camera.
